MY INTRODUCTION TO STEEMIT POST-1 @goodythemainguy

Hello everybody! My name is Goodnews Eton and I'm super excited to finally be here on Steemit after hearing so much about this platform.

I'm from Ibiono in Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, incase you're not familiar with it, its a state in Nigeria where everything is green and fresh, with palm trees everywhere you turn. Our place is really blessed with natural resources and the people here are very accomodating. If you've never visited Akwa Ibom, you're missing out seriously! We have the best native delicacies and our cultural heritage is second to none.

Right now, I'm in my final year studying Medical Laboratory Science at University of Uyo. Let me tell you, final year is not beans at all! The stress is real but we thank God for strength. UNIUYO has been an intresting journey with all the lectures, practicals, and campus life wahala.

Now this is what I find most interesting about my self. Even though I'm studying medical lab science, my heart is seriously into tech and coding. I started learning programming when I was in SS2 - I was just 14 or 15 years old then. While my mates were busy with only school work, I was busy trying to understand how computers think and operate.

You see, I don't believe in this our traditional education system where you just cram and pass exam. I personally believe education should be about innovation and solving real problems. Thats why I've been teaching myself different programming languages, learning about n8n automation, and exploring all these AI tools that are changing the world. The combination of medical knowledge and tech skills, I believe that's where the future is heading!

My aunty @nsisong2022 was the one who told me about Steemit way back in 2023. She kept saying "Goody, this platform is different oh, you can earn from creating content and meeting people globally." Honestly at first I was skeptical, you know how many platforms promise heaven and earth. But after doing my research and seeing how the community operates, I knew this was something special. It took me some time to finally join, but as they say, better late than never!

To be very honest, combining school with learning tech has not been easy at all. There are days when assignments and exams will not let me code, and days when debugging will not let me read for tests. But at the end I believe thats the sacrifice you make when you want to be different.

I joined Steemit because:

• I want to connect with tech people who understand this journey

• Share knowledge about AI, software, and innovations happening globally

• Learn from others who are killing it in the tech space

• Build a network of serious-minded individuals

• Document my growth from student to tech professional

I'll be dropping content about:

Actually let me not promise too much sha, sometimes school stress might not let me post regularly but I'll try my best.

I'm not here to play oh. My goal is to become someone who bridges the gap between healthcare and technology in Nigeria. Imagine using AI to diagnose diseases faster, or creating apps that help our local hospitals work better. That's the kind of impact I want to make.
