This happens to be one of the craziest drawing I have done in this series I titled “The tribal mark series” it’s crazy how a lot of cultures and identity are attached to certain marks, and how everyone could identify there own person. I was looking for a reference image to use as a guide and I stumbled across this particular one, the reference is down below. I was in shock because I can’t imagine my face been design with lines i have wouldn’t be comfortable with, but then again I feel that’s their own form of civilization, supposing I wasn’t born in the city and I live amongst them who knows maybe my own marks would have been the longest ahahahhaha.

My drawing below emulates a progressive state, below you will see the sketch from scratch to finish and I was able to do this work withing an hour. I started with creating a sketch then proceeded towards giving it some shades and highlights, after that I started applying my crayon pencil to them.

My final drawing wasn’t drawn to depict the exact reference but it’s just a drawing to showcase my theme and series to the world, I hope you all like this one.
