An Act of Kindness I will Never Forget

What was the act of kindness you experienced or witnessed?

The act of kindness that I experienced was a gift that was given to me. The first iPhone that I used was given to me by a kind person. When I newly entered school my Android phone started giving me problems, which I complained to my parents about via the phone without knowing that my uncle was with my parents when I was talking with them.

He heard me loud and clear and surprised me with an iPhone 8 when it came out. I was so shocked and surprise for such a gift that I never expected on my birthday.

Who showed you this kindness?

Like I said it was my uncle who showed me this kindness. He surprises me with a new iPhone 8 on my birthday. He is a nice man who is happily married with a beautiful wife and children. As I received the gift I couldn't hold my tears of joy.

When and where did it happen?

It was around 2020 that I was surprised with the phone. During the evening when everyone was in the sitting room, my uncle handed me the phone over the phone as a birthday gift which I felt so happy about. I never expected such kindness especially the phone call from my uncle I thought he wanted to give me some advice as he used to do.

How did it affect you emotionally, mentally, financially, or spiritually?

It affected me financially by reducing my burdens and saving me from the phone issue that was given to me. And also I used the money my parents gave me earlier to buy an Android phone for something else.

Did this experience inspire you to be kinder to others? Explain.

Yes, this experience inspires me to be kinder to others. To date, I am kinder to my uncle's children which I do by joking with them. I am kinder to his children even more than myself because of how the experience with my uncle inspired me.
