The 5 things I feared most to ever happen to me and why I am afraid of them are:

• Losing Someone I Love: I fear losing someone I love because the emotional weight of loss can reshape my entire life. The idea of me waking up and knowing things will never be the same is horrible to me.

• Failing at something important: I am not too afraid of ordinary failure, but I failing at something that I deeply care about is something I am afraid of because it makes me feel that I have disappointed myself and the people who trust in me.

• Being misunderstood: It really hurts when people think the worst of me when I meant well for them. Such a dear can make me overthink my words and actions.

• Being alone when I need support: Even strong and great people need someone to lean on. There is a fear in me when I am facing tough times without anyone by my side.

• Making a mistake that affects my future: To my understanding, not all mistakes are equal because some have lasting consequences. That fear pushes me to be careful of myself, but sometimes it leads to anxiety.

Yes, I have experienced the loss of someone I loved, which is my beloved mother and brother, and they changed how I look at life. Grief teaches me things I didn't know I needed to learn. I also failed at something that mattered so much to me, and at the time, I felt like my life had come to an end.

What's your stand on the saying that the things you fear most will eventually happen?

Yes, I believe the statement partly, but not in the way that people think. Sometimes constant fear makes me more likely to notice or attract the very thing that I worried about. What I know is that fear shapes my decisions, and my decisions shape my outcome. Other times, the fear comes true simply because life is unpredictable not because I attracted it.
