The Diary Game || 25.04.2024 || Caught Under The Weather

Hello fellow friends of Steem4Nigeria community, I hope we are all coping with the high cost of goods, commodities and services in the nation.
The economy has been biting but I know we will all scale through.
The economy has made going through our daily activities more difficult. Cost of transportation fares has been high in Uyo which has affected mobility greatly too.

As a teacher, I am enjoying the holiday presently, but school will soon resume officially. But in my school, teachers had already resumed on Monday. We all went to school after a two weeks break. We cleaned up the classes and prepared materials for the learning process for the term.

Well this is how my day went!

I woke up today and prayed, I also read my Bible and planned out the day using My Habit Tracker app. The app helps me to plan my day accordingly. My plans for the day included my habits and my goals which were clearly stated out.

I had my bath after doing the necessary chores and went off for private tutoring with my little boy.

He is a really intelligent boy and I enjoy teaching him because he understands well. I take him on Mathematics and English Language for his common entrance which is coming soon. I am preparing him for the examination and he has been a good student so far.

By 10:30am, I was done with the private tutoring and I went off to work which wasn't far away from my client's house. I was 30 minutes late when I got to work but seminar didn't start yet because materials for the seminar was yet to arrive.

Soon the seminar started and all the teachers were instructed on how to communicate effectively with the pupils, how to get active listening from them and how to be efficient in the work. The seminar was a great one and we all engaged with each other. I was getting tired because I started having fever. By 1pm, the fever got very serious and I couldn't concentrate in the class.

I was permitted to get a rest, I had to rush off to get medication from the sick bay for the fever, after which I slept in my office. I slept there for 2 hours. When I woke up, almost everyone had gone except my friend. She was writing and preparing lessons materials for next week. And she said she couldn't go because of me. So she had to wait till I woke up, she is a special friend too.

The fever was reduced but my head was banging, and my eyes were reddish. Whoa! I have been caught under the weather...my body temperature had risen much higher too. I have to visit the pharmacy, I said to myself, but then I remember I don't have enough cash to run a test and get medication.

My friend and I chatted a bit before we left by 4pm, she had bought snacks for me to eat as she saw that I was a little bit weak. We went home and she walked me home before she headed for her house.

I didn't really have appetite to eat, but I tried eating to regain strength. I slept a little, then woke up to play bubble game on my phone.

Well I am now on steemit writing and reading content. I have tried to accomplish some of the plans I had for the day even when I was unwell.

That is how my day went for today, I hope to get better soon, so I can operate at an optimal level.
