The Dangers of separating fight.

There are lots of dangers one tend to face in the cost of operating a fight or quarrel. It was on a Wednesday morning of 19th November in Uyo, Mr. Edet Effiong's restaurant, located at Use Offot in Uyo is a popular spot for lunch, and I am one of its regular customers.

As I walked into the restaurant, I noticed that Mr. Effiong was nowhere to be found. I tried calling him, and he answered, his voice weak and strained. He explained that he had been injured while trying to separate a fight between two of his neighbours. I was shocked and concerned, and I immediately asked if I could visit him at the clinic where he was receiving treatment.

When I arrived at the clinic, I was met with a disturbing sight. Mr. Effiong's head was shaved and ready to be stitch and bandaged, and he had a large gash on his forehead.

He winced in pain as he recounted the events that had led to his injury. According to Mr. Effiong, the two neighbors had been arguing over a minor issue, but things had quickly escalated into a full-blown fight. Mr. Effiong, being the good Samaritan that he was, had tried to intervene, hoping to calm the situation. However, one of the aggrieved parties had turned on him, wielding a machete and striking him on the head.

I was horrified by the story, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of outrage. How Could someone be so reckless and violent, especially towards someone who was only trying to help? As I sat with Mr. Effiong, listening to his account of the events, I realized that this incident was a stark reminder of the dangers of separating fights. It's easy to think that intervening in a physical altercation is the right thing to do, but the reality is that it can be incredibly risky. Mr. Effiong's story is a testament to this fact.

He had been lucky to escape with his life, but the physical and emotional trauma he had suffered would likely stay with him for a long time. As I left the clinic, I felt a sense of gratitude towards Mr. Effiong. His selfless act had almost cost him his life, but it had also served as a wake-up call for me and others. It was a reminder that we need to be careful and vigilant when trying to separate quarrels or fights. Sometimes, it's better to seek help from authorities or professionals who are trained to handle such situations.

Mr. Effiong's story is a sobering reminder of the importance of prioritizing our safety and well-being. It was a call to action, urging us to be more mindful of our actions and to think twice before intervening in physical altercations. As I walked away from the clinic, I felt a sense of respect and admiration for Mr. Effiong, a man who had risked his life to help others, and a sense of gratitude for the valuable lesson he had taught me.

Thank you for going through my post, do have a great time ahead.
