Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week128: The Most Important Person in my Life
Who is the most important person in your life? Tell us about the person and your relationship with them. |
|---|
The most important person in my life is my mother. When I think about everything I have gone through in life, she is always the first person that comes to my mind. My relationship with her is very deep because she has been there for me in every stage of my life. From when I was a small child who knew nothing about life to the person I am today, she has always stood beside me.
My mother is the kind of person who worries about her children even when we say we are fine. She notices the small things. If I look sad or quiet, she will ask me many times what is wrong until I finally talk. Sometimes we laugh together, sometimes we argue like every normal family, but one thing that has never changed is her love and care for me.
To me, she is not just my mother. She is someone I respect deeply because of the life she has lived and the strength she shows every day.
Why is this person so important to you? Share the qualities or actions that make them special. |
|---|
My mother is important to me because of the sacrifices she has made for our family. There were times when things were not easy, but she still tried her best to make sure we were okay. As a child, I did not fully understand how much effort she was putting in. But as I grew older, I began to see it clearly. She is a very strong woman. No matter the problems she faces, she always finds a way to keep going. Even when she is tired, she still thinks about her children first. That kind of love is something I truly admit.
Another thing that makes her special is her kindness. She has a soft heart and always encourages us to treat people well. She believes that no matter how someone treats you, you should still try to be a good person. What I appreciate most about her is the way she believes in me. There were moments in my life when I doubted myself, but she never stopped encouraging me. Sometimes a few words from her are enough to lift my spirit.
Can you share a memorable experience you had with this person? |
|---|
There is one moment I will never forget in my life. I was going through a very difficult time and I felt lost. Things were not working out the way I expected and I started feeling like a failure. I kept everything to myself because I did not want anyone to worry.
One evening my mother noticed that I was unusually quiet. She sat beside me and asked what was going on. At first I tried to say nothing was wrong, but she knows me too well. After some time, I opened up and told her everything.
She listened without judging me. When I finished talking, she looked at me and said something very simple but powerful. She said that life will always have challenges, but those challenges do not define who we are. She reminded me that every person has moments when they feel weak, but what matters is the strength to continue. I remember feeling a sense of relief after that conversation. It was like a heavy weight had been lifted from my heart. That moment showed me how important it is to have someone who truly understands you.
What valuable lesson have you learned from this person? |
|---|
The biggest lesson I have learned from my mother is to never give up on life. She always tells me that patience and hard work are very important.
According to her, success does not happen in one day. It takes time, effort, and the courage to keep moving even when things are not easy. She has also taught me the value of kindness. Watching the way she treats people has shown me that being kind costs nothing but can mean a lot to someone else. These lessons have shaped the way I see the world and the way I treat others.
If you had the chance to say something special to this person today, what would it be? |
|---|
If I had the chance to say something special to my mother today, I would first say thank you. Thank you for all the sacrifices she made that I may never fully understand. Thank you for the love she has given me since the day I was born.
I would also tell her how proud I am to call her my mother. Her strength, patience, and kindness continue to inspire me every day. Even when life becomes difficult, the lessons she taught me give me the courage to keep moving forward.
Most importantly, I would tell her that her love has shaped my life in ways she may never fully realize. And no matter what happens in the future, she will always remain the most important person in my life.
I invite @sahzh @christabella @dezzlej34 to participate in this contest.
