Makeup and Cosmetics

A makeup is the use of beauty products to enhance a person's looks and in some cases, mask a defect to make it less obvious. While the use of Makeup is rapidly becoming a fashion, we can't expect everyone to be on the same page on this topic.
In this contest, I will love to hear from you and feel free to express your opinion on the subject. You are at liberty to digress a little.
Is there any difference between makeup and cosmetics? What are some things that constitutes a makeup and is there any age when to start or stop it's use?

The following questions are here as guidelines to streamline your content in this contest. While you are expected to follow these guidelines though not in any particular order, you are free to digress a little and to be as creative as possible.

• What is a makeup?, is there any makeup item or procedure that is a part of your culture or tradition?
  What aspect of your makeup is borrowed from another culture.

• Are there makeup for specific events and dress, please explain.

• Do both men and women use makeup/cosmetics? Who uses more?

• Are you ok if your spouse makes use of a makeup? And what is your definition of a light, heavy or extreme makeup.

• Are you aware that some people appreciate makeup on other people but would restrict their spouse from using it. What would you say is the problem with such?

• Do you view a tattoo as a part of makeup? Give reasons for your answer. What else would you like to say about Makeup and Cosmetics.

• Write an article on Makeup and Cosmetics. with at least 300 words and post it in this community.
