When people say "Life goes on", what does that mean to you?

Life goes on means life continues, it means time can't be stopped even in good times or bad times, life goes on to me means, life shouldn't be given up on because life is more than existing its like a river always flowing, never pausing. Sometimes calm, sometimes stormy. But it never stops. That’s what I think about whenever I hear the words: “Life goes on.”

I’ve heard that phrase more times than I can count. It’s said at funerals, after heartbreaks, during financial loss, and in moments where your world feels like it’s crumbling. At first, it felt cold to me. How could people just say life goes on when everything inside me was standing still?

But with time, I started to understand.
A few years ago, when I lost someone dear to me.

The world didn’t pause. The sun still rose. People still laughed. Markets opened. Children played. It was strange how the world keeps spinning when you feel like your world has stopped. That’s when I realized: “Life goes on” doesn’t mean forget. It means survive. It means keep breathing. life goes on its that statement among others that gives one a reality push when i remember that sentence i am triggered to continue to keep going and to keep winning .

Most especially it makes me to remember that if i kill my self over that challenge some one somewhere tied to my destiny will suffer for it. Therefore i say life goes on because there is a generation tied to me that if i give up will ask why? i keep going knowing that when i keep moving i will get to that place where generation will be glad i stayed strong in those hard times.

Does "Life goes on" make you feel better when something bad happens, or does it not help? Why?

this question is in two side i will answer this way Sometimes, yes. Sometimes, it doesn’t. When pain is fresh, those three words can feel hollow. But with time, they become a reminder that healing is possible.

It doesn’t erase the pain, but it promises movement. Even if today hurts, tomorrow might be better. And if it isn’t, maybe the day after that will be. for me knowing this truth help me keep going.

I know of a friend of mine who told me of how her Uncle took advantage of her, it took her years to let go of the assault but guess what she is currently married and doing well with her two kids and her dear husband, now If she hadn't allow the life to go on, she would have either done something bad to herself and not enjoy that which awaits her in the future.

life goes on can make one better knowing that thier is a hope for a tree that is cut, that at the scent of water it can grow again.

Knowing that we only have a certain amount of time, how does that change how you live?.

Honestly, it makes every second feel more valuable. I don’t want to waste it holding grudges or being stuck in the past. I want to live fully, forgive quickly, and take risks. I’ve started appreciating little things: the smile of a stranger, a phone call with an old friend, quiet sunsets.

Life is spiritual and until you start taking charge you will keep being stagnated, knowing life is short makes me want to live more, pray more, know more of God and fulfil my purpose here on time.

Jesus lived 33 years old before he left and he fulfilled his days here on Earth i can only live as long as i have preached and fulfilled my days.

What does it mean to be strong and bounce back from tough times? How do you do that?

It’s not about pretending everything is okay. It’s about choosing to rise, even with shaky legs. It’s crying but still getting out of bed. It’s failing but trying again.

For me, bouncing back is rooted in faith, and reminding myself that my story isn’t over yet, bouncing back is telling those who has wrote you off that look you might have wrote me off but am Bouncing back because of my generation.

Telling them i will win, giants rise you will be made in that place call Zion because its a place where weak men become stronger and bounces back out of depression and issues of life
