Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 140: Just Broken, Not Dead.
Hello Everyone.
From Pakistan🇵🇰.
“What's something that happened to you and felt impossible to get through but you did?.”
“How has this tough time changed what you value most?.”
I have always valued such things. I always thanked God for them. There are always small problems in our house, but thankfully, there was never an issue of anyone health. I have seen that illness is a big problem. If there is an illness in your house, then you also suffer with whatever you have. Tough situations are when family members get sick. You love your family so much that you don't want to see them in pain. And when you see them in pain, then you realize that tough situations are called. We can find a cure for everything. For example, if there is a shortage of money in the house, we can do extra work. If some machinery breaks down, we can get them to fix it. But health is something for which we sit down and hold our heads in one go. And if the illness is serious, then we have to fight with it. The first thing we need is willpower, and willpower comes only when we calm down our mind. It is also very important for you and your family to be healthy with a calm mind.
“What's a small win you've had recently that felt huge?.”
As I have told you, my mother had a paralytic attack in January and her recovery was very slow, but later that month, she started having language problems again. She was having a lot of trouble speaking. We thought that she might have had another attack. We were giving her all the medicines on time. I was getting very worried. I took her to the doctor and the doctor told me that it was not an attack, but that she had felt her weakness due to not eating, which caused this problem. I was very happy to hear that we have been exempted from taxes again. It is a small thing to say, but for me, it was a moment of joy. When the doctor said this, I felt that there was no luckier person in the world than me.
“What's a new perspective you've gained on life or yourself?.”
I thought a lot and the first thing that came to my mind was that you should prioritize your health. Your health is very important. I saw that people do so much work in their lives that they don't even pay attention to their health. My mother was one of those people. She did everything possible and tried to make everything perfect, but in the meantime, she forgot about her health. She neither took her BP medicine nor her sugar medicine. She always believed that I was perfectly fine. But I think you don't know what is going on inside you and a regular check-up is also good for you because one day a disease affects you in a way that you can't even think about. Diseases are very small, but when they stay in your body for a long time, after a while they get attached to you, they become a big disease.
“Is it really true that "What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger". Why?.”
Yes, this is absolutely true. The thing that cannot kill you, somewhere or the other, plays a big role in repairing you or making you a better system or building you. I have often heard this. People say that a person is so afraid that now fear has disappeared from within him. Then this is also absolutely true. If a person is afraid of something, he is constantly afraid of it. One day, he starts feeling brave and then the thing that is scaring him is not even afraid of it. Therefore, the things that cannot kill you, somewhere or the other, help in making you a better person because they are constantly challenging you. Where do you stand physically and emotionally? But you are afraid at that time. But with time, they are creating a courage within you. She was taking the biggest step in challenging you. When the challenge continues, somewhere or the other, that version of the person comes to the fore that no one had ever thought of.
