Let's show how creative you are:- Drawing - Elephant.

Good day my fellow steemitians, hope y'all are having a wonderful day, It's me again participating in this do it yourself contest. I am so glad being part of this contest, because creativity is what I enjoy most about life. The topic of this contest is to drawn an elephant 🐘. Elephant are huge and majestic creatures known for walking in troops and always showing love and care to one another. The are among the biggest mammals, if not the biggest mammals in the wild. Additionally, I want to say a big thank you to the @Steem4Nigeria community for hosting such an upbuilding contest. Without wasting much time, below is my contribution.

Tools/equipment needed to draw an elephant 🐘

• Plain sheet paper
• Pencil/Pen
• Eraser
• Cutter knife/Pencil sharpener
• Colour pens/ crayons (optional)

I started by drawing the elephant's eyes, because I believe that getting the elephant's facial features in the right position first will help me draw it's head more effectively.

At this stage I have drawn the elephant's face half way, but have drawn one of it ears completely. Now proceeding to draw the other ears.

At this stage, I have drawn the elephant's other ear, and also it's trunk and tusk. I believe it facial features are completely positioned.

At this stage I've drawn the elephant's forelimbs and part of it's belly region. Elephants 🐘 are know for having big belly (guts), I just hope the belly of my elephant is big enough 😊.

At this stage I've drawn the elephant's legs. Now proceeding to do some finishing touches. Below is my end results.

Elephants are such gentle, bold, and majestic creatures because they possess some unique qualities, some of which include:

• Elephant are among the biggest and largest mammals, if not the largest and biggest. Research shows that an adult elephant weigh several tons similar to the weight of two rhinoceros.

• The elephant's elongated trunk is a multipurpose tool meant for many activities including: smelling, breathing, grasping, and communication.

• The elephant's tusk is are means of defense against predators. The elephant's tusk is made of ivory, and most elephants have curved tusks signify how involved the are in defense and protection of their younger ones.

• An Elephant possesses large ears, not only for the purpose of hearing, but also for other purposes like serving as a cooling mechanism and helping to regulate body temperature.

• Elephant are among the most intelligent animals, possessing the capability of problem-solving and showing emotions such as grief, sorrow, and joy.

• The Elephants typically feed on grasses, foliage, and fruits. There are able to pull and pluck down trees and fruits with their trunk.

• The elephant posses relatives lifespan, and are able to live within the range of 70 to 80 years in the wild.

• Elephants are incredible swimmers able to travel rivers, streams, and lakes with ease.
