What a tradition, am just laughing reading your post. Very crazy tradition, the one I encounter is when someone want to build a house you must settle the community elders and youth chairman first. After the house is completed, you must also organize a small party in the site , they will eat and drink then bury the leftovers on the ground with incantation. Am people that people have begun to see the light, changing from the crazy tradition. Good luck to you, which State is that in Nigeria?
