My Observations:
Visiting graves, is a way of helping one heal from emotional trauma and connect with loved omes. It has overtime been a way of life of some people. This is solely on culture and traditions, a normal way to say a proper goodbye or to ask for forgiveness or to say things you never did when they were alive. Although I have never visited, but I could feel those emotional connections when I see people who visits.

That right. I think this tradition will continue despite opposition from a small segment of the community, and that's normal, as everyone has a different way of thinking.
