Integrity is not being perfect, It's wholeness. Integrity is not about not falling. It's about choosing to live undivided, where your words, thoughts, values and actions are in alignment. The word for integrity originates from the same root word as completeness or oneness. That means integrity is about being one person, not fragmented, not fake, not fractured.

One thing you must know is that integrity is your foundation and not your decoration.
In a generation that is obsessed with marketing, branding and platforms with confused influence, only integrity and character is all you need to survive.

Being your true yourself?

Sometimes , we allow other people to determine for us, how things should be. Don't try to be who you're not just to please everybody.

Rather, start paying attention to your inner mind, everything changes. Understand that, being true to yourself is not selfishness. It's about telling your self the truth of who you really are, knowing your words, thoughts, and actions are in alignment to who you are. No need mask it.
You will be shocked to see how you lose approval of people because you choose to be yourself but don't forget there are people who would respect and value the real you.

Why is it important for people to keep their promises?

Keeping to a promise made, shows reliability and respect for others. Fulfilling promises is not just a social courtesy, it also teaches us about the values of trust and integrity in our relationship with others.

keeping to promises actually means the act of fulfilling commitments or agreements that has been made to others.

Keeping our promises to people builds trust, when you keep to your words be it in relationships, friendship, family, colleagues and also in business.

What's the difference between being honest and being nice?

Being nice is when you're being helpful and considerate with strings attached as in you'll be friendly as long as the other person is friendly, you'll be helpful at work as long as something is attached to it. When nice people don't get what they're expecting they are subject to change their behavior to match the other person.
Meanwhile being honest, has to do with the truth in alignment with what you think, say, and do.

If your friend asked you to lie for them to get out of trouble, would you do it? Why or why not?

This is very much complicated. If my friend tells me to lie to get them out of trouble, my answer will be, depending on the kind and servierty of the situation at hand.
What if I help them lie today to cover up their crime and tomorrow they commit another one much bigger. Lying to cover a friend is also putting your integrity, honesty and reputation on the line.
Instead of lying to cover up for them, I would rather offer my support by standing by my friend while the situation is been fixed. I will assist in anyway I can to guide them through it. I believe that's what real friends do, standing by them no matter and not helping them start a new one.
