It depends on what we're daring to be different from. Sometimes it is worth it but sometimes it is not worth it

You said it all here.... Everyone wants to be different but the situation matters too.
I have been at gun point, where the instruction says: Everyone should go down, don't play the hero. So, there was this guy who dared to be different by challenging them and guess what, he got two hot slaps of his life. I understand the courage to stand up to someone holding a gun but what if he ends that guy? What's he going to tell his maker. Luckily for him he got two hot slaps.
He dared to be different at the wrong scenario I guess.
