To Be Honest
Do you agree that being honest is costly? Has it ever caused some e.g pain or regret?
Yes. In this world people don't like someone being honest due to what they have pass through in life. In the world of today it's very difficult to see a person being honest.
Living a life of honest is costly infact for you to be honest that means you will pass through many pains from people even people close to you too.
I have being in a situation where I'm honest with people because of that I was punished. Even in my house when I being honest my husband doesn't believe me some time his words and blemes on me will make me feel bad for telling him the truth and being honest to him.
Can you be honest without hurting people's feelings?
Yes. Depending on the issue on ground if it is something that doesn't really concerned people as in personal issues I don't see any reason for not being honest because I know I'm not going to hurt someone feelings.
Have you ever told a lie to protect someone?
Yes. But I regret it letter. One day I was in my shop so a lady although I knew her came to me as I was still trying to arrange my goods immediately she rush to me and said anuty please please please save me please if any one ask you where I buy this tomatoes tell them that she bought it in my shop.
Out of pity I accept to cover her up. Not knowing that there was a camera watching when she picked the tomatoes and put inside her bag. So when I went to the woman shop she stole the tomatoes as the woman on the camera for me to watch oh I was like oh I have disgrace myself. I was speechless I didn't know what to say infact I almost urinet in my pant because I didn't know what to do again even they beat me self for telling lies. Since then when I see the woman I feel so ashamed of myself for accepting to tell such lies to cover another person bad deed.
Is it okay to keep a secret if it could hurt someone?
It depends like that of my own covering that lady was the biggest mistakes I made.
I think that to keep a secret if it could hurt someone you have to be sure that covering that person will not also hurt you.
Just like in my own case, had it been that woman did not know me that I'm not a trouble some person she will have call the police for us.
So I think that before keeping a secret to defend some one please be sure to avoid regret latter.
