No, I don’t think school marks are completely unnecessary — they’re useful for tracking progress and providing feedback. A balanced system with practical skills assessments alongside meaningful marks would serve students and the job market much better.
Good answer! I think marks couold be used in a playful manner to make abilities comparable. But they shouldn't force competition one against another...
