Greetings from me,
You all are very welcome to my today's post. I hope you all are healthy and safe. Today in this SLC-S28/W1-"Local Taste, Global Twist!"| Creative Breakfast Challenge! I am participating. I liked this topic and it is very interesting. I am very happy to participate in it today. First of all I would like to thank @ninapenda for organizing this type of post. Without wasting much time let's start writing this post with some questions.

Local dish:-Poha
Origin:-Maharashtra and India
Breakfast is the most important part of starting our day. Breakfast has its own identity in every region and for me this identity has been stuck with me since childhood. Light, tasty, quick to prepare and filling. This is why Poha is a popular morning meal in many states of India. But this time I thought why not do something new in this traditional dish. Why not give it a global flavor that will give it a completely new identity? With this thought,my kitchen journey began and I prepared. Thai-Style Peanut Poha Bowl,a unique fusion of the taste of Indian Poha and the street food flavors of Thailand.
Kanda Poha is a traditional breakfast of Maharashtra. This dish is very simple but its taste directly touches the heart.Poha soaked in a little water and cooked with onion, turmeric, green chillies curry leaves and lemon.By adding coriander and salt on top it becomes a wonderful breakfast. There were many mornings in my childhood when I used to wake up automatically as soon as I smelled the smell of Poha in the house. The beautiful yellow color of turmeric the aroma of onion and green chillies the sourness of lemon on top.All this together creates a homely taste whose memories remain forever in the heart.

To make Poha, first pour oil in a pan. After that, add mustard peanuts, chopped green chillies, chopped onion, ginger-garlic paste, chopped tomatoes and sugar, mix all the ingredients well and let it rest for a while.
After that wash the poha thoroughly with water and put it in a pan. After that add turmeric, salt, coriander powder and salt and then add lemon juice and mix it well. After that add chopped coriander in it.I took it out in a dish and also added sev on it for decoration. So that it looks good also.

To give a new twist to my traditional Kanda Poha, I added a blend of street-food flavors from Thailand. This global twist included:
1.Peanuts and Raisin
2.Chili Flakes
3.Spring Onion
4.tomato
5.Lemon – mild sourness which brings out the taste
6.Sev and green coriander for decoration
These global elements make poha a fascinating fusion of Indian and Thai flavours.

Taste of Original Kanda Poha: Mild, homey, less spicy, had the tang of lemon and the texture seemed to be soft poha and had a yellow colour, garnished with onions and coriander. The taste of the new version seemed completely different. It was slightly sweet, spicy and salty which was a wonderful blend of flavours. Its texture included the crunch of peanuts along with the soft poha. Appearance of Poha: More colorful was the red glimpse of chilli flakes, green spring onion, rai and peanuts. So this new version tasted bolder, more aromatic and had an international flavor.

The inspiration for my creativity came from a simple desire.I wanted to try something different. But it didn't lose its traditional flavor either.Besides, I ve always liked the style of Thai street food. I wanted to make a breakfast that was both simple and new. And this was the biggest reason. To make our everyday dishes more exciting,I thought why not give a slight touch of Thailand to Poha.So that a new unique taste can be created.
So friends, this was my today's post which I end here. I hope you like my post. See you again with a new post with new energy. Thank you.

I'd like to try it. I usually eat peanuts on their own as a snack or in desserts, but in rice? That's novel. You've given the dish a twist, now with a Thai touch. How nice!
Kanda Poha You have presented a dish of your own from your city and the process of making it looks as delicious as the combination of many ingredients to me. It looks very tempting and appealing, best of luck to you.
I have never tried original poha. Here you have added global twist using Peanuts and Raisin,Chili Flakes, Spring Onion. I like how creatively you have presented this recipe. Thank you dear.
