The Diarygame: 12-01-2026 A day of fun and adventure!! 😃
😊 Monday, January 12th, was a day full of adventure! I woke up feeling refreshed, brushed my teeth, and started cooking three cups of rice for my family. My mom had gone to church, leaving me, dad, and younger brother at home. I decided to cook concoction rice with groundnut oil instead of warming up the leftover óttó, a native dish from my culture.
After cooking, I took the rice to dad, and we ate together. Then, I headed to the salon to cut my hair, but the barber wasn't there. I waited for an hour, and when he returned, he did a great job. I paid him and headed home, feeling a bit sleepy. I took a two-hour nap and woke up to a missed call from my friend in Abuja, who was in Calabar for his sister's wedding.
We caught up, and he invited me to meet him at the hotel. I trekked to the highway, boarded a transit, and met his brother, Engr. John, at the VIP lounge. We chatted, and my friend joined us with two friends. We had some food, including delicious isi-ewu, and watched the Super Copa final between Real Madrid and Barcelona. Barcelona won 3-2!
After a fun evening, I headed home, tired but happy. My friend gave me ₦5000 for transportation, which was a nice surprise. I trekked from the highway to my house, saving some money for later. I fell onto my bed, exhausted but content 😴
