Do you believe education contributes to societal development? Have you personally witnessed the positive impact of education in your society?

First I will like to define a society as a group of people who lives in a place with diverse culture languages, believes etc. Yes I believe that education contributes to societal development. I agree to that question because in the city of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State where I grow up, that is to say I have completed my primary, secondary and tertiary education here. I have seen diverse kinds of progressive development in this city. I am saying this because I have spent a good number of years in this society and have seen drastic development by the people living in this city. Many farmlands that where once bushy and and some forests have been deforested because of positive development.

Many individuals have migrated from either rural areas or other cities to the city of Uyo, purchase once a farmland or forest and have built edifice and beautiful houses thereby creating changes to the environment.

Many businesses that where not here have been established for instance you can stay at home and order for anything including food stuff and the dispatch rider will deliver to you at your post. This is as a result of education. They are enlightened through education they must have acquired either formal or informal education that Uyo is a city or emerging city at that with many business opportunities.

Still as development in my society the population of people have skyrocket this is advantageous to businesses. Establishment of more schools and the birth of more businesses and entrepreneurs.

Education is a rapid catalyst to a societal development. I will define education as access to information. That is the quantity and quality of information one can access makes the difference with another person who does not have access to such information.

As a member of a society, what do you see as your role in promoting development?

As a member of the society I have several roles in promoting development. Starting from having a good character right from home. There is an adage that says charity begins at home. Participating in the monthly sanitation to obeying the authorized rules and regulations kept in the society.
Observing my environment to come up with innovative solutions to solving social problems within in my society. Example, I observed indiscriminate disposal of waste in my society which is a social concern and I came up with innovative solution of creating a mobile application that people can stay at the comfort of their home to subscribe for timely pick up of waste which will inturn solve the problem of environmental pollution and degradation which is harmful to our health, reduce green house emissions, create employment etc.

How has the government contributed to the development of your society?

Government are doing their best in developing the society by providing social amenities such as electricity, good roads etc. Government cannot do everything alone and so individuals should also support the government by observing the problems and come up with innovative ideas that can in turn bring about sustainable solution. The people can end up making money from their solutions because for the solution to be sustained the society should be able to pay for the solutions.

Do you think artificial intelligence (AI) will lead to societal development in the near future? Please provide detailed explanations.

Yes I believe that artificial intelligence (AI) will lead to societal development in the near future because it will ease the brain work by humans and will rather re-enforce the practical implementation. I know for sure that artificial intelligence will definitely not replace humans.

The reason I said that it will lead development is that it will actually make the brain work to become easier for humans. It will make the reasoning work much better because when I actually conceived my idea, I needed to respond to some critical questions in the contest I was to participate and present the idea. It was ChatGPT that actually assisted me in refining the conceived idea into a workable solution. It was able to generate the important vocabularies that I needed to present the ideas in a shape that was captivating and interesting.

In conclusion I am not encouraging people to solely depend on AI but still they can use it when necessary. Originality of a content is the best.
