Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 143: The Journey So Far.

Here is my entry

This life we are living is not all about how fast we reach the finish line, but it is about how much we grow while running our race. As I reflect on the first half of this great year 2026, I cannot help but smile most of the time. It has been a great journey filled with lessons, victories, setbacks, and great opportunities to become a better version of myself.

Looking back so far on my journey, I can confidently say that this year has shaped me in many ways I never imagined. As a student nurse/midwife, balancing academics with Steemit and my personal life has not been easy for me, but every challenge that I faced has taught me to be a resilience person. Despite the challenges I have still remained active here on Steemit, sharing my thoughts and experiences while connecting with amazing and great people from different parts of the world. Every post and interaction has motivated me to keep improving myself for the better.

Oh yes I have. At the beginning of the year, I set several goals for myself, some of them have been achieved, while others are still in progress and I believe that by the end of the year it will be achieved. I am happy that I have remained committed to my studies and continued building my writing skills as well. However, I must admit that I am not exactly where I hoped to be financially. Like many young people, limited income and the increasing cost of living have slowed down some of my plans.

The biggest challenges standing in my way right now is financial constraints and time management. There were moments when everything seemed overwhelming for me, especially when academic responsibilities piled up but Instead of giving up, I have decided to stay focused by creating a better study schedule, reducing distractions, keeping focus on my goals and making wiser financial decisions as well. I also remind myself that success is a marathon, not a sprint therefore I need to keep pushing ahead.

As the second half of 2026 begins, I don't intend to abandon my existing goals, but rather I will continue pursuing them with greater determination. At the same time, I plan to add a few new goals, such as learning another skill, improving my savings habit, enhancing my study habit as well, keeping to my time and becoming more consistent in creating quality content here on Steemit. I will do all this because I've come to the understanding that growth never stops and neither should my dreams too.

In conclusion, the first half of 2026 has taught me that every challenge carries a lesson, and every small achievement deserves to be celebrated. I may not have accomplished everything that i planned to do in the first half of the year, but I am proud that I have not stopped moving forward no matter the challenges and I also believe that with faith, consistency, and hard work, the remaining months of this year will bring even greater success to my life.
