Christmas celebration in the village

Season greetings great Steemian family,

Am delighted to share my experience of how I celebrated my Christmas,

Christmas is a season of love, forgiveness of sins, and a lot more, Christmas is a celebration of the coming of the messiah by the Christ believer worldwide. Tho,many people take advantage of this period to steals, kills, fornicate and commit all sort of atrocities all in the name of Christmas and all this makes this period which supposed to be lovely turns out to be an insecured period of the year in many parts of the world which is not how is supposed to be.

It is supposed to be a period of reconciliation between one an other as it also marks the end of the year too,

During this period, many families travel to a reunion with their loved ones also many schools, businesses, and companies close down to allow their workers to spend time with their family.

Am a year two nursing student from College of Nursing Sciences Lafia, Nasarawa state of Nigeria,

The school went on vacation on the 20th of December, and the distance from the school to my house was just about 100 kilometers so I reached home that same day.

Christmas Eve, which is 24th December, was the day we slaughtered the Cow to use for the celebration, it was a busy day for me. i worked from morning until dawn

Celebrating Christmas in the village is always the best for me due to its numerous and interesting activities attached to it.

On Christmas day which is the 25th of December, I went to church service with my beautiful sisters, and after that,we also attended a traditional dance in the village square, it was really interesting. During Christmas celebration, it brings a lot of fun, unforgettable memories and drawings of souls close to God through the teaching of the birth of Christ.

I pray that we will all live long to celebrate more Christmas in the years to come. Merry Christmas in arrear and Happy New Year in advance .
