SC-S28/wk2: "Movie Highlights: "Based on True Events"

Hello movie lovers

Welcome to week 2 of steemit challenge season 28!! I still remain your host ruthjoe. Last week we kicked off and it was beautiful seeing all the movie stories shared based on directorial debut or movie breakout.

There are times you see a movie and you just know from the story that this is actually someone's life displayed on screen.

I have seen movies inspired by true life events not just fiction and I can tell you for a fact that they are always amazing!

This week I want you to share such kind of movies with us! That's why I have titled it "Based on true events". Check it out.

Week 2: "Based on True Events"

Objective for the week

The objective for the week is to Connect with real human experiences through cinema. That's simple isn't it? Note that I would really check the movies to know if they are real life inspired.

Task for the week

• Watch a film inspired by real-life stories or people. Example films: Hidden Figures, The Pursuit of Happyness, Hotel Rwanda, Erin Brockovich

• Did the movie make you more curious about the real-life story?

• Which scene or moment felt the most powerful or emotional?

• What lessons did you learn from the true story portrayed?

• How did it make you feel about the people or time period it represented?

Guidelines for the challenge

• Read carefully and understand the task

• Your entry will be evaluated and rated out of 10, based on the emotional impact, quality and presentation, thoughts and the creativity of your storyline. Note that results can not be contested and decisions are final!

• The Title of your submission should be "SC-S28/W2-Movie Highlights|Based on True Events(add name of the movie)

• Post your entry in steem4nigeria community or on your blog.

• Submit your entry link under this post.

• Tags to be used: #mschallenge-s28w2 among the first three tags, #steemexclusive #movies #creativewriting, and your country.

• The minimum word count should be 500 words.

• Invite 3 active friends to participate and drop the link to your post in the comments of this post.

• Promote on social networks like X and add the link under your post

• This contest will be open for 7 days starting at Monday 00:00 UTC, it will close at 11:59pm UTC every Sunday.
