The present time is Poush month according to our Bengali month. In Agrahan month there is a season of rice in our country. That is, in the month of Agrahan, the farmers cut their paddy and dry it in the field, then thresh it with a threshing machine and bring it home. After bringing the paddies home, they are washed and cleaned and soaked in water for 15-20 hours. Then the paddy is taken out of the water and placed in a big pot (in our area the pot is called Tafal) and then they are boiled in a very high flame. After the rice is cooked, it is taken out of the pot and placed on a mat or mat to cool. After the paddies are cooled, they are packed in sacks and then taken to an open place where the sun shines throughout the day and the paddies are spread out to dry. It takes about 2 days or more to dry the rice well (the more heat the rice gets from the sun, the faster the rice dries). Again, while drying the paddy, they have to be shaken repeatedly so that all parts dry well. After that they have to be brought home again in sacks.
This whole process is usually done by the girls of our country. Because men are busy in the field all day, women have to do this work. So they perform these tasks with great difficulty. But, after all the hardships from threshing the paddy to drying it in the sun, when one's paddy is stolen, it becomes a very painful matter indeed.
An old lady in our neighborhood dried her paddy in the evening with such difficulty because she wanted to take it directly to the rice factory in the next morning through an autovan to make rice from the paddy. Not only that old woman, but all the people in our surrounding area dry their paddy in a big empty field near the primary school in our area, and the paddies are kept there even at night until they are completely dry. Our paddy was also stored in sacks after drying and the next morning with the help of a van it was taken to the rice mill and made into rice.
But, someone stole 1 sack of paddy from the old lady's paddy sacks that night. Which is really a very reprehensible and despicable act. The old woman did not find her sack of rice after much searching.

You have dropped a wonderful report, anything about stealing should be responded to immediately, it was bad that they stole that old woman sack of rice.
I think when next they organized things like that, security should be provided for the benefit of every participants, mostly the aged people.

I also agree with your opinion. People of our area should increase security, be aware and take necessary steps to catch these thieves.
