The Legend of Bhagat Singh-Movie from true story
Watch a film inspired by real-life stories or people. Example films: Hidden Figures, The Pursuit of Happyness, Hotel Rwanda, Erin Brockovich |
|---|
The film I am presenting today is based on real life. The film's title is The Legend of Bhagat Singh. The film is basically based on the life of the revolutionary Bhagat Singh. Bhagat Singh was a socialist revolutionary who fought for India's independence during the British period and sacrificed his life for independence.
Bhagat Singh was born in British India in 1907. Since childhood, he witnessed numerous atrocities committed by the British against Indians. The British ruled the Indian subcontinent for 200 years. Fed up with their atrocities, Indians started fighting for independence. Bhagat Singh is a great revolutionary of that great movement.

Inspired by the love for the motherland, he got involved in the struggle. He knew that the result would be a death sentence. Then he continued the struggle for a party, made various efforts to inspire the youth of the country towards the country, even from the point of marriage, he did not get married for the sake of the country. Such a great revolutionary is Bhagat Singh. And The Legend of Bhagat Singh has been made about him.

At that time, many movements became successful due to Bhagat Singh's great courage and intelligence. The British rulers started searching desperately to catch Bhagat Singh. Rewards and rewards were announced for his capture. Bhagat Singh appeared at different times with his team in different places and tried to accelerate the movement. At that time, one name was on everyone's lips, Bhagat Singh. Those who knew Bhagat Singh did not reveal his identity, but rather assured him of all kinds of cooperation. Especially the youth were so devoted to him that many young people became revolutionaries on his call.
At one point, Bhagat Singh was caught by the police, and the British government secretly hanged him on March 23, 1931. The Legend of Bhagat Singh is a biopic based on the life of one such great patriot.
The Legend of Bhagat Singh was released on 7 June 2002. It received generally positive reviews, with the direction, story, screenplay, technical aspects and the performances of Ajay Devgn and Sushant in the lead roles garnering the most attention. Did the movie make you more curious about the real-life story? |
|---|
Yes, The Legend of Bhagat Singh, a movie based on the real-life story of Bhagat Singh, one of the revolutionaries of India's independence, was released in 2002. It was through this movie that I came to know about Bhagat Singh.
I was unaware of the great person who sacrificed his life for the freedom of the country. I had heard about Bhagat Singh in the past, but I did not pay much attention to it. After watching The Legend of Bhagat Singh, I became interested in Bhagat Singh. I started researching about him, and I collected information from Google I collected something from YouTube.
India achieved independence because of a true patriot like Bhagat Singh. Bhagat Singh was not only a revolutionary himself, but through his extraordinary activities, he created many revolutionaries who fought for the country. That is why I would say that a truly good cinema represents a country, represents the creative children of the country, and makes people interested in it.

Which scene or moment felt the most powerful or emotional? |
|---|
The revolutionary Bhagat Singh was inspiring people to achieve independence in different parts of India and was fighting against the British. Weapons were needed against the heavy weapons of the British. But weapons were not easily available at that time. Bhagat Singh took a suicidal step to present the technical aspects of how to make these weapons to the common people.
He hired an expert in making weapons; with his help, they achieved weaponry. And with that weapon, they detonated a bomb in an empty meeting. Then the police arrested them. When the case was brought to court, the weapons expert, a gentleman, became the royal witness. Then the techniques of making weapons were skillfully presented in the court.
The journalists present there published the techniques of making weapons in their newspapers. At that time, the prisoners present thanked the royal witness and said-
"We have learned this knowledge of making weapons with great difficulty. It would have taken several years to give this knowledge to the common people. But today, through you, this knowledge will spread among the revolutionaries of the whole country. My purpose has been achieved. Even if I die now, I have no regrets. I have been able to make thousands of revolutionaries."
It seems to me that Bhagat Singh sacrificed his life for the ideals and goals for which he had set himself. His purpose is contained in these few sentences. And in my opinion, this is the biggest turning point in the film. Besides, when Bhagat Singh's family decided to marry him, the wedding would take place in the morning, but thinking that it is not right to celebrate the wedding at the time of the country's turning point, he wrote a note and ran away from home at night, which seemed to be a burning example of patriotism.

What lessons did you learn from the true story portrayed?- |
|---|
The Legend of Bhagat Singh is a film based on a true story. Several things have been presented in this film that I can learn from. From the film, I can learn or realize that it is better to die than to be subjugated. Everyone has to come forward to bring freedom to the country. Everyone in the country has to be united. Regardless of party affiliation, everyone has to have love for the country, and to keep the country's territory intact, one has to risk one's life. At this time, one has to sacrifice personal happiness and peace and move forward with the utmost importance of the country and the end. Anyone who disagrees on this can be compared to a coward.
A beautiful song of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh
How did it make you feel about the people or time period it represented? |
|---|
The Legend of Bhagat Singh is a film based on the history of the freedom struggle of subjugated India. I myself was once a citizen of India. So this is my war too. At that time, the level of oppression by the British had increased to such an extent that it became impossible to bear. At that time, some patriotic people came forward to liberate the country and its people. The attack and counter-attack began. Some of those incidents are shown in the film.
From that, I felt like I too should start a revolution with Bhagat Singh and play my role in saving the country.
