Dairy Game : 23/06/2026 - Snacks, Rest and The Funeral

Hello my amazing Steem-Fam!! I hope you're all doing great. I'm here to share my lovely day with you guys. I woke up really late today because I was down with malaria and typhoid and the medication I took yesterday made me feel weak. It was a school day so my sister was getting her kids, my nieces ready for school. I noticed that she had bought some unbranded potato chips for them to take to school. When I saw the potato chips I started craving for some it. So I decided to get it for myself. Here is my morning snack. My unbranded potato chips.

After eating the chips, and satisfying my cravings, I went on to fully begin my day. I did chores and laundry, then freshened up and relaxed for the day. I then decided to read this novel I started reading few days back. It was a short novel and I could finish it quickly but these days I was very lazy when it comes to reading novels.

Anyway I read it for a while before I dropped the book and took a short nap. I felt energized after my nap and I quickly got ready for the funeral I was going to attend. I was going to attend the funeral with my elder sister. The person who had died was the father of one of my mother's close friends and we knew her personally so we had to attend.

The funeral was crowdy, it was also loud and fun. It was actually a day of celebration instead of mourning because over here when a very old person dies we celebrate their death because they had lived long. We celebrated their long life. Here death in old age was celebrated and dying at a younger age was mourned.

I couldn't take a picture of the burial itself because I was preoccupied but I took this picture when I finally got the chance to sit down. This was after I had finished eating at the burial.After the burial I came home and rested. I didn't eat dinner at home because I had a lot to eat at the funeral. I just spent some time on my phone watching reels and reading news and posts on facebook before going to bed. That was how I spent my day. I hope you all enjoyed your day too.
