Applications Invited for City Coordinators under Steem4Nigeria

Introduction

Steem4Nigeria has remained the official community for Steemians that are Nigerians and has since been working on ways to gather our people together from different places on the platform to ensure they get used to their own home and have them supported frequently. We believe we can do better as such we have a new thing to share on this day.

Call for City Coordinators

Nigeria is a nation made up of 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, blessed with numerous languages/tribes with a slight difference in the way of living, yeah, culture differs from one region to the other. Over time, people have joined Steemit from many of these states/tribes sharing things about their culture and other quality articles on the platform.

We have some active social media platforms for Nigerians where we share prompt information with them as regards recent development on the platform as such enabling them to get notified early enough. Since we have users from different states/cities/towns in Nigeria, we deem it fit to have coordinators across these places to ensure more effective on-chain/off-chain relations amongst Nigerian Steemians.

Responsibilities of a City Coordinator

• He/she would be responsible for encouraging Steemians in his/her city to make quality content and do the right thing in the ecosystem.

• Organizing Meetups with his/her people based on an agreed schedule to discuss certain developments on the platform.

• Coming up with ideas that would keep users in their region active and others to generate more users.

Who Can Apply and How?

• A city coordinator must be at least 6 months old on Steemit and with at least 55 reputation score. And an active club participant.

• The person must be an active user, not powering, and not have a recent power down history (within the last 60 days).

• Write an article that tells your brief history on Steemit and a few ways you have contributed to the platform (even by guiding members on a few things).

• Do you know other Steemians in your City? Tell us about them. Tell us how capable and available you would be for the role because you may have to report on your city once in a while.

• Let the application title be Application for a City Coordinator under Steem4Nigeria in (your city/state).

• Include the tag #steem4nigeria-citycord, club status and #nigeria among the first 3 tags.

• The application closes on the 3rd of October 2022.
