New Project: Steem4Nigeria Accelerator | Your Growth in the Ecosystem, a Priority for Us
Introduction
Hello, community members. We are glad to be sharing with you yet again this new week, we hope you have enjoyed a great weekend. We have a new project in our community to share with you and trusting it would help you to some extent in the ecosystem, keeping you glued to blogging while positioning yourself for support all week round.
Steem4Nigeria Accelerator
We care about your growth in the ecosystem, your consistency in creating quality content on-chain is one of the ways to grow, of course, we equally want you to grow and continually be part of us as we write great stories together on Steem. This led to the development of a new project named Steem4Nigeria Accelerator, why and its purpose? You get to learn about it in the next few paragraphs.
We realized some users in some cases find it hard to come up with a topic on daily basis and this tends to contribute to their inconsistency on-chain, in the long run. We have decided to contribute our quota to help you in your journey on Steem.
Objectives of Steem4Nigeria Accelerator
How Steem4Nigeria Accelerator would Work
We have created topics for each day of the week which means users can easily write on the topic for the day. This does not mean users are only limited to the topic of the day, they can still write other articles as they want but it would be an added advantage for them to take part in the project. It would continue with the same schedule every day for at least 4 weeks.
As stated earlier, normal activities would continue in the community and our weekly contests would still be organized. Let's see the schedule for each day below.
Monday- My General Plan for the Week
Monday being the start of a working week in several countries of the world, we want to see your general plans for the week. You can talk about the things you have planned to work on for the week, travel, visiting places and so on. Suitable articles that are related to finance quite well can utilize the #fintech, #lifestyle tags and others, to benefit from the community curation team handling the theme. In addition, add the tag #s4naccelerator-s1d1 for the first day.
Tuesday- Story Time
We love reading stories and we'd love to see you share your creativity in writing stories with us. Create quality stories utilizing an image that can be owned or license-free, and ensure it's a quality story that is complete (it's not necessary to be a true story, all we want to see is your creativity in writing). For this day, you can use the tag #creativewriting for suitable articles and #s4naccelerator-s1d2 for the second day.
Wednesday- iTeach
On this day, we want to learn from you through an article that shares with the community your knowledge about a subject, it can be a tutorial about your job and skills you have acquired, and so on. In short, we want to see you teach us something you know. Suitable articles can use the tag #learnwithsteem, #fintech, and so on, be sure to learn more about the tags of the curation themes. In addition, for the third day, use #s4naccelerator-s1d3.
Thursday- My Town in Ten Pictures
Take us around your town in ten pictures. It will be a great pleasure to walk around your town with you, pictures would be a great way to do that and we look forward to seeing great ones from you. Users can utilize the tag, #mytown10pics, and others for this article. And as for the fourth day, include the tag #s4naccelerator-s1d4.
Friday- The weather and I: How the Weather has affected me this week, your Forecast for the coming week
The weather condition is different in every part of the world depending on the time of the year, even in the same country it's different per region. We want to learn how the weather has been in your region this week, in what way has it affected you and what you think of it in the coming week. Articles like this can also be suitable under #creativewriting and for the fifth day, don't forget to add the #s4naccelerator-s1d5 tag.
Saturday- Weekend Specials (My Delicacies over the week or this weekend)
Different parts of the world and countries have special delicacies local to their region. If you have consumed some special delicacies during the week or have some plans for one this weekend, we want to learn about them, share your special delicacies with us. Do not forget to add the #s4naccelerator-s1d6 tag for the sixth day.
Sunday- Weekly Review- Tracking my Growth
It's been 6 finished days of the week with a lot you have been engaged in. We would love to read your review about the week so far, the activities you have been engaged in throughout the week, and your progress in all. It can also include your activities on Steemit, the articles you have made so far for the week, your power up histories, and so on. The tag #steemgrowth can be utilized for suitable articles and add #s4naccelerator-s1d7 for the seventh day.
Guidelines for Steem4Nigeria Accelerator
- To participate, pick the Steem4Nigeria accelerator topic for the day and write on it. Note: This does not stop you from writing other articles, you can write any article(s) you choose to any day (only participants should adhere to the project's topic of the day).
- Use the tag #s4naccelerator-s1d1, #s4naccelerator-s1d2, #s4naccelerator-s1d3, and so on, in the first 4 tags (the tags has s1 in it every week because this is the first season, we would notify you when another season begins). This is required so that we can track how many articles you have made in the Steem4Nigeria Accelerator project, we would compile the list of our top participants (who have completed all) after each week for additional support from the community.
- The title of your articles should be Steem4Nigeria Accelerator- iTeach | How to Create... and so on. Kindly abide with this recommendation.
- Articles must be at least 300 words.
- Do not be involved in any forms of plagiarism. We implore you to be active club (#club5050, #club75, or #club100) participants and avoid vote-buying.
- And do well to interact with other participants as you share together.
Rewards for the Participants of Steem4Nigeria Accelerator
- Active participants tend to get more recognition within the community and Steemit at large and expose themselves to more support.
- Steem4Nigeria is in Tier 1 of the booming support program which allows us to select 8 articles daily for support. The more you write in the community, the more rewards you tend to get and the accelerator program would increase your visibility to getting the booming support. Regardless, any type of article made in the community stands the chance to be supported through booming.
- Top participants in the Steem4Nigeria Accelerator program would be considered for extra support at the end of each week.

In conclusion, this is the first season of the Steem4Nigeria Accelerator program in our community, we can make amendments along the line and you will get notified promptly on probable changes. Hello, this new project is cool and fine. It's a good idea. But there is one thing i will like to say as a suggestion for the growth of this community and steemit as a whole. Please whenever a post is created by a steemian, most especially the new comers, there should be a way to encourage them more so that they can actively and joyfully engage in any activities on this platform. One thing i want to you know is that it would be very bad and disappointing to see my hard-crafted post without any upvote or a word of encouragement. I think you should look into this and do something. The reason for this suggestion is that i have noticed some cool posts from the new comers here without much upvote, the situation i see as discouraging. I think we are here to help one another.
Every quality and well detail article gets support from the @steem4nigeria account not minding weather you are a new comer or not. The MODs too are doing great job by ensuring that every article in the community is reviewed within 24 hours and when this review is done they always leave a comment on your post. Please we are not bias here we support everyone. I recommend yo put effort as a newbie to write qualify article and stand the chance of getting good upvotes
