Hello my dear Steemians,

 

For this week challenge I thought to share one of my favourite movie. Often when I am in a bad mood or feeling bored and want a bit of fun I watch this movie and that makes me relax and laugh, despite of the fact that I watched it few times since the very first moment I watched the movie.

So let’s start, have you ever watched this movie called “Bruce Almighty”, that is movie produced in 2003 American comedy movie by Tom Shadyac, director movie. There are two reasons why I decided to watch it:

• Jim Carrey, very popular comedy genre actor. He is very talented and I think he can play any role, serious and drama but we all love his comedy roles because he manage to bring anyone to laugh

• Morgan Freeman, another very talented actor who always make any movie immediately unforgettable

I think many of us once watched the movie may find ourselves in the main hero. When it started there was some situations like bad luck, something does not work and it repeating itself, there are some problem at work, there is problems with family life and often it feels like everyone is against you.

In those moment you think:

• “Why it is happening to me? If I would be able to wish something and if I could change it like I want.”

Bruce has this lucky moment and got an invitation to have a new job from… God! Of course, he can’t believe that it is true. He thinks that someone is playing off with him. When God says that he is going to vacation and Bruce is there to replace him for this time being. He agrees to do so because he still can not believe and just leaving God, but then everything is slowly starting to be true and every his wish is coming true!

 

What moment in the movie made you smile or laugh the most?

 

 

When you watch movie, actually every single section of movie makes you smile, but once we arrive to this moment I just laughed without stopping for few minutes and even felt that I had some cramps in my tummy muscles till tears.

The main character of movie is Bruce, he is a journalist on Television News channel but he gets only unimportant small news and also the time for the news is not very popular. There is another moderator of News channel with the name Evan. He considered to be one of the best one and has the best time of news. Once when Evan is live presenting news Bruce decides to trick it off and as God he was able to change the script of the news, or to make Evan speak very strange, absurd language and make himself absolutely ridiculous. Here is the moment that I mean, please watch it and you will also have some fun.

 

What made the film feel comforting, joyful, or hopeful?

 

I think the whole scenario of movie about a simple man with his ordinary family make everyone feel very close to the main character and also makes us feel everything that he feels.

The problem of any family like dog who does not listen to the host, because they did not have enough time to train a dog. Couple who are very tired and not very close like romantic couple but more like good friends. The job where we all try to do our best but as always we feel that the boss underestimates our skills and oversees our talents. The conversations that have real wise advises that everyone would benefit if we follow them.

 

Would you recommend this movie to a friend who’s feeling down?

 

I have already advised the movie to many of my friends and not only because they were sad or bored but also if there is a little party and friends would like to have laugh together. I also shared the movie with my grandmother who really enjoyed it and we had a lot of fun despite of age difference I can say that for humour there is no age problem.

My few friends later on told me that they had good laugh and really enjoyed the movie. Even now when there is more than 20 years passed since the movie first appeared on screen the movie manages to get more and more new fans of the movie and story.

 

How did this movie improve your mood or perspective?

 

After I watched the movie I think that even being God it is not so easy and joyful life but it is very busy and also very responsible task, because we are all different and we all have many wishes but there are always many that we can reach ourselves with our own strength and hard work but we often like to have an easy path. I just think that nobody is gifted in this life and if we word hard to reach our goal then we can reach a lot.
