DELVING INTO THE AVOCADOS

Scientifically or botanically known as persea americana, avocados belongs to the fruit family of berry. That popular food with green skin, buttery flesh and a seed is actually a fruit but often referred to as a vegetable.

It is originally a native to the south America, but as the years go by, it has been largely grown in lot of other countries with Europe being its largest cultivator.
In cultivation, persea americana does not ripen while on the tree, but after being plucked off and kept in a paper bag with an apple.
Just like every other thing around, avocados have varieties which includes
Hass
Reed
Pinkerton
Bacon
Fuerte

Nutritionally, avocados is not found lacking as it is considerably rich in healthy fats, and antioxidants. It is remarkably enriched with vitamin B6, C, E and K; not lacking in magnesium, manganese with potassium. This fruit also contains high amount of fibre!

HEALTH WISE IMPORTANCES OF AVOCADOS
Containing healthy fats of monosaturated and polyunsaturated belong to, this fruit reduces the amount of present cholesterol and blood pressure of the heart.
It also plays a huge role in the health of the eyes by ridding age related optical conditions.
Avocados deal with weight management by enhancing weight loss and satiety.
They are anti-inflammatory and reduces the symptoms of arthritis.

PRODUCTS FROM AVOCADOS.
From avocados, it is possible to get the following which includes avocado butter, avocado oil, avocado oil, avocado juice and cosmetics made from avocados.

AVOCADOS’ CUISINE IDEAS.
Just like every or most of other fruits and plants, avocados are not only eaten plainly or ordinarily, but can be garnished into dishes and eaten in different ways which could come in form of soup, appetizers, entrees, salads, snacks, desert, toppings and so on.
Most times, hass, fuerte, bacon and Pinkerton avocado is mostly used for these culinary ideas which are as follow below:

  1. Guacamole is the popular food made from it as it serve as dips for chips and crackers
  2. Avocado fritters are made from crisply frying its slices.
  3. Avocado smoothie, gotten from blending it along with almond milk, banana and spinach.
  4. Avocado ice cream, made with avocado puree and coconut milk.
  5. Salads and sandwiches could also contain diced or sliced a ocados
  6. Avocado banana bread is a bread baked with mashed banana, avocado and walnuts.
  7. Veggie burger with avocado is made by topping the fruit with lettuce and tomatoes.
  8. Grilled chicken and avocado sandwich made from a whole grain bread with chicken, lettuce and tomatoes.
  9. Sliced avocados can be added to omelettes and burritos during breakfasts.
  10. When cooking avocado oil can be used as finishing oil for your dishes.

ALLERGIES
Of course, it is possible to eat this fruit and react negatively to it, making it medically unsuitable for someone.
Hives, rashes and itching.
Digestive and guts issues.
Interacting with some medications.
