If you were given full authority for one year in your community or country, what is the first issue you would address?

If I were given full authority over my country for a year, I would first focus on solving the overall problems of the country's sports. Because sports are not just a means of entertainment, it is an important tool for a nation's physical fitness, mental development, discipline and international recognition. There is no dearth of talented players in our country, but due to the lack of proper planning, infrastructure, training and transparent management, those talents are often lost. Therefore, I will take the reform and development of sports from the grassroots level to the national level as my first and main goal.

Why did you choose this issue over others?

I have chosen this subject because the country's sports have been neglected and plagued by various problems for a long time. On the one hand, the youth are inclined towards drugs, depression and crime, on the other hand, sports can be a positive and constructive alternative path for them. Lack of regular sports facilities at the school and college levels, lack of fields and coaches in rural areas, financial insecurity of players and political influence. These problems have held back the sports.

I believe that if sports are developed, the young generation will be disciplined, accustomed to a healthy lifestyle, and the country's reputation in the international arena will increase. Therefore, along with important issues such as education, health, or infrastructure, I consider sports as a sector to be prioritized.

What is that one difficult decision you would have to make?

I will have to take several difficult but necessary decisions to solve the problems of sports. One of them is

Taking strict measures against corruption and nepotism: Many sports organizations have been dominated by the same person for a long time, irregularities, and abuse of power. Many people are getting opportunities not because of their qualifications, but because of their identity and influence.

Removing incompetent and corrupt officials: This will be a difficult decision, as it will face opposition from influential circles.

Budget restructuring: To ensure adequate budget for sports, it may be necessary to temporarily allocate less in some other sectors.

Performance-based selection and opportunities: This may exclude many familiar faces, which will give rise to criticism.

Although these decisions are difficult, they are very important for the long-term interests of the country's sports.

How would you explain this decision to people who disagree with you?

I will explain the matter to those who disagree with my decision through logic, information and transparency. I will try to explain that these decisions are not against any individual or group, but for the future of the country and the sustainable development of sports.

I will present past failures, corruption statistics and examples of sports management in developed countries in front of them. Along with this, I will create a participatory environment by giving importance to the opinions of players, coaches and sports related people. I believe that if the intention is honest and there is logic and transparency behind the decision, then gradually the opposition will also be able to understand the matter.

Finally, if I get full authority for one year, solving the problems of the country's sports will not only be the development of a sector, but also a big step towards building a healthy, conscious and confident nation. This change is possible with proper planning, tough decisions and the cooperation of everyone. With this belief, I chose sports as my priority.
