2024, the Best or Worst Year so Far?

My fellow steemians it's a new year. I'm so happy for seeing this day. Happy new year to everyone. I'm positive about this year. But that doesn't mean I wasn't positive last year. I want to share with you the experience I had last year. It was bitter and sweet memories though. First I want to thank @bossj23 for organizing this contest. Second, I love to thank @okokon for inviting me to the contest. Let's get started.

WOULD YOU SAY YOUR 2024 IS THE BEST OR BAD YEAR AMONGST OTHER YEARS? INCLUDE REASONS.

That year was my best year. If I can possibly remember everything that happened then I can write up to seven pages about how the year went through.
Here are a few reasons to say it was my best year.

It is the year I had 3 biggest job of my life. I was handsomely paid to create 3 artworks that gave me a financial breakthrough.

It was the year I learnt that exercise is worth more than drugs. I dropped my hypertension pills and bought myself a bicycle to improve my blood pressure and stay fit, sound and healthy.

2024 gave me new clients and friends. By spreading my tentacles in steemit I got to know @bossj23

I had the chance of meeting almost all the Nigerian Steemians at the end of the year party.

IS STEEM PRICE PART OF THE REASON YOUR YEAR IS ABOUT TO END BADLY? INCLUDE OTHER THINGS THAT CONTRIBUTE.

Steem price can never be a problem at all. I'm saying this because I wasn't really interested in what was happening in steemit that year. I was not literally concerned about the money. I was only glad I had a platform I could save my artworks and probably share my views in other aspects of life. Talking about steem, I was only waiting for SBD to be back, since SBD was more valuable than steem.

DO YOU THINK YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING YOUR YEAR BAD OR GOOD OR DOES IT JUST HAPPEN BY CHANCE?

Though some things happened that were beyond my power. I was defrauded of sixty thousand naira in my POS business early that year. Someone stole my bicycle as at November 29th of that same year. Those are the tragic things that happened to me. I wouldn't let those two accidents get into my heart because I'm hypertensive. Thinking too much about life events might affect my blood pressure, so I don't let these troubles get into my head. After all, I can get back everything I had lost. The positive things that happened that year had apparently overwhelmed the negative output.
Like I earlier mentioned I was able to make more money from my craft that year. Glory be be to Jehovah for all I could achieve.
After saying all that I would come to a definite conclusion that I was in control of everything that ever happened to me. Nothing happened by chance.

WHAT ACHIEVEMENTS ARE YOU PROUD OF MAKING THIS YEAR? IT COULD BE ON STEEMIT OR PHYSICALLY.

The most important thing I have achieved is the 3 biggest job I did that year.

Then the second is the opportunity of meeting Nigerian Steemians at the end of the year meeting.

I am also happy that I could gift so many people free artworks that year.

About steemit, I'm so glad I met other steemians and learned from them the wonders of consistency.

Another feat of achievement is bringing people into steemit. I got 4 new steemit users that year. Though I can only remember the username of 3 people. @glodick @jemilatbuhari and @pearlfavy

I was able to attend 2 Ibom Love Garden parties even in my tight schedule.

Another outstanding achievement is going through the year without depending on malaria and typhoid medication.
I disciplined myself by securing my apartment with mosquito net.

Prior to my birthday I went to Ibom Hotel and Golf Resort to tour around for the first time.
This might not sound special or great but I was happy I could give myself that treat.

I loved myself so much that I bought me a mountain bicycle to help me stay fit, sound and healthy.

I don't think I can remember everything I did that year in details. Those are the outstanding ones I can remember.

WHAT PLANS HAVE YOU PUT IN PLACE TO ENSURE 2025 WON'T BE A YEAR TO REGRET?

My greatest plan for this year boils down to one thing. This one thing is more important than any other thing in life. Since I know I'm suffering from high blood pressure I have to work on my health. health is everything. health is wealth. Without good health every other thing is unimportant. A sick man can't achieve anything along with his mates. Now I'm not saying this to attract self pity.

No I can't be that lame. I'm trying to let you know that I have taken my health as my utmost priority of my life for 2025. Last year has taught me the lesson that when you make your well being your number one priority then you will be able to achieve other things with ease.
I will get myself a bicycle again by God's grace. I will exercise everyday except Sundays. I will stay healthy by eating home cooked meals only. I will stay away from negative people. I will curtail some friends that pose as negative vibes. I will learn another money making skills and add to the ones I already know. I will get into a romantic relationship. Staying single throughout last year wasn't easy. I really need a companion. I know the importance of relationship and its benefits.
