At the hospital, waiting to see my doctor

Can you list 5 things you feared most to ever happen to you and why you are afraid of it?

  • I used to fear that I won't make it to heaven, not knowing that heaven isn't for us in the first place. I was born into a Christian home. I was told that if I keep being stubborn and self-willed that God wouldn't make a place for me. However, when I grew up I learnt that heaven means the presence of God and not a place with a map.

  • When I was diagnosed of hypertension I thought that I was going to die helplessly. I didn't know that I was the cause of my problem. I was ill and hopeless. I worried about everything. I didn't know that a change of lifestyle can take back to normalcy. I bought myself a bike and started using it for exercise. I maintained proper rest, exercise and diet.

My diagnosis

  • I fret about what I was going to do with my life after school. I studied political science and I saw no area that I can work with in the labour market. However, I finally got a clue that I have a talent embedded inside of me and that is what I should use to scale through life. I stopped letting the society decide for me who to become.

At the doctor's office

  • Philophobia hunted me years ago while I was still in school. I never knew that I could meet new people with good intentions.
When I increased my social circle I stopped worrying about who care or not. I enjoyed more. I gradually reduce the fear. Now I'm open to options. I feel loved.

  • Insomnia. Yes you're right insomnia nearly destroyed me years ago. I had to survive on sleeping pills to rest properly at night. Though it was due to my health issues. but after I started exercising and reducing my time on phone screen I got better.
My fear was that if I keep depending on pills to survive then I might die when I'm stressed out. But as an artist and blogger I couldn't stop using my phone due to work. I had to buy myself a blue filter glasses to help me cope.

Did any of these things you feared ever happened to you? Tell us

Non of my fear came through. Everything that happened to me boiled down to fear of death. I really wanted to live long and healthy but FEAR kept hunting me. All of these troubles was years ago.

I recommend this book 📚 for those with any phobia

Today I'm doing good. I even bought a book to help me overcome all my phobias.
Healthy lifestyle and a few doctor's instructions has really helped me. There was only one thing to fear and that was death. Here I am today. sounds and healthy. To anyone reading this I want to let you know that death can only kill you once but fear of death will keep draining your energy and makes you feel unhappy.

When I was sick and bedridden

What's your stand on the saying that the things you fear most will eventually happen?

It's a blatant lie. We all have different phobias. nobody is flawless when it comes to phobia. At least almost everyone in this era is suffering from nomophobia, which means the fear of loosing your mobile phone.
All I feared was dying, but that never happened. So I don't believe in what we fear can happen to us. If we don't carry negative mindset then we can fly above our problem(s).

On my way to the hospital for regular checkup

When things go wrong we should always cast out burden(s) to God. He is the greatest doctor in our lives. There's nothing impossible to him and his host of angels.

I like to use this opportunity to invite my friends to participate in the contest.
