WHAT FELT DIFFERENT ABOUT THE STORY TELLING OF THE MOVIE COMPARED TO NEWER FILMS ?

This movie is named the Lion King it is talking about the story of a Simba, a young lion prince who must learn responsibility after his father’s has died, unlike many modern animated films, it is done with a hand drawn animation, which gives it a warm, artistic feel and the story is likely simple but it's very deep about families, loss, and courage without looking for a flashy effects, the modern animated movies like Frozen or Moana which often focus on fast jokes and pop culture references this movie name the Lion king relies on a strong emotions and also it have a good memorable song like circle of life and Hakuna Matata to keep the audience engaged, the dialogue is also more serious some times, especially in scenes about betrayal and death.

DID THE FILM AGEWELL, OR DID SOME PART FEEL OUTDATED?
Yes, but it has some few issues
The animation:- The hand drawn style still looks beautiful today, even compared to CGI films, the colors are bright, and the African landscapes feel real.
Music:- The songs that was sang by Elton John and Hans Zimmer are still loved worldwide.
Outdated Parts: Some people now criticize the hyenas’ voices they sound like stereotypes of poor, uneducated characters, also the story has only one major female character named (Nala), which feels limited in 2025.

WHAT DO YOU THINK MADE THIS FILM A CLASSIC?
The emotional Impact:- Mufasa’s dead is one of the painfull and the saddest moments in this film history, it makes Simba’s journey feel very real and presentable
The universal Themes:- This movie teaches me a lot of lessons about growing up, facing my fears, and fixing past mistakes and things everyone could understands.

Its Legacy:- many children who grow up with the Lion King are now sharing it with their own children, keeping it popular, for over 30 years, the most important thing is that People of all ages love it, and the songs are known worldwide.

HOW DID THE CHARACTER OR THEMES RELATE
TO TODAY'S WORLDS?

The Leadership:- Simba’s struggle to accept his role as king is like how young people today fear responsibility.
Environmental Message:- The movie shows what happens when a bad leader (Scar) destroys the land similar to real world climate change problems.
Family and Forgiveness:- Simba’s reunion with his family reminds us that mistakes don’t define us forever.

CONCLUSION:-

The Lion King is a classic movie because it tells a powerful story in a simple way, it is a mixes fun, Timon and Pumbaa’s jokes with deep emotions Simba’s guilt while some parts feel old fashioned, the main message about learning from the pastis still important today.
If you watch it again in 2025, you might notice new details, like how the animals’ struggles mirror human problems, that’s the sign of a great movie, it stays meaningful no matter how many years pass it is.
