Hello people, Hello Steem4Nigeria. Greetings from this end to you all, i want to trust we are all doing great here, if? so then thanks be to the almighty. I am v-brainer and i want to appreciate you for visiting my blog, i hope this meets you in good time.

I am glad to participate in the contest with the title "Let's show how creative we are:- Drawing" that is been organized by @benton3 in the Steem4Nigeria community because; i generally love drawing and being that i am to showcase my drawing skill gives me so much joy. Most times when i draw, though i am not perfect at it but i love people accessing my work because it give me motivation to do More.

Before knowing what a rat is and it's economic importance, lets see some step-by-step way i was able to come up with the drawing from the start to finish.

Drawing Materials

The drawing materials i used to come up with this drawing are;

• Pencil
• Razor Blade
• Black Pen
• Coloured Pencils
• Erazer

Step 1

I started with drawing the head of the rat which involved the mouth and ears

Step 2

After drawing the head, i sketch the body of the rat and the back by making a slight curve.

Step 3

After sketching out the body i then included the forelimbs and the hindlimbs

---

Step 4

The fourth step is the drawing of the tail, and eyes, i also included it whiskers.

Step 5
After finishing the drawing, i decided to make a lighter dark shade to make is look better

Economic Importance Of Rat

Rats possess so many economic importance, some of which are positive and some negative which is more pronounced. Some of these economic importance are listed below;

• Rats are used in scientific research especially in medical studies where pharmaceutical product are tested, and also in psychological studies too.

• Rats are consumers of grain, grains that are basic food for humans and this makes owners of food grain loose their food to rats.

• Rats destroys goodswhich may be food and non-food products causing a great loss and stress to owners of the goods in question.

• The production of rat poison is also directly or indirectly significant to the economy

• Some people consume rat as food and this is an important source of animal protein for them

This contest is really helpful as we have learnt some of the economic importance of rats. One thing i also admire about rat is that, they never give up and are always consistent to go insearch for food, they will break through woods, walls and many kinds of obstacle just to archive their goals, this is a reflection on @disconnect who have been consistent since from the very day i joined steemit till date, can't be as easy as it looks but all u can say is thank you for bring all the contest and updates in one piece.
