My Neighborhood Watch #77 - Reporting Events Around us

Such an heartbroken moment.
I'm sharing with you all the live happening and as eye witness of this incidence. No one believes this would happened.

Earlier yesterday I was traveling to meet my friend who won a scholarship program with a cash prize of 1 million at Ikono Local Government Area , Akwa Ibom State.

My intentions was to visit him to show how happy I am for him to get such prize , but as I reached his place , he gladly ask me to accompany him to a community football match which was sponsored by the the federal house member representing Ikono/Ini federal constituency, Hon. Dr Emmanuel Ukpong Udo . I accepted accompanying him to the stadium because I love football too .

As the match was about to start, we have to move from where we stood to a shade behind the class block due to the inmate actions by the spectators who almost fought among themselves because of harsh argument about which team to win.

As the game began , it was almost the first half and both team were under 0.5 goal. I was expecting a score at a dime minute , but unfortunately, as the goal keeper was approaching the ball with his full force , he struck his head on the football post.

Immediately, the referee whistle's pierced the air and people didn't know exactly what happened, meanwhile the goal keeper lay motionless on the ground.

The impact was severe that the goal keeper was unconscious for minutes.
The representative from the host of the match rushed him to the hospital following with conditioned termination of the match around 45 minutes from start.

Everyone one who witness the match went back with dissatisfaction and it was so unfortunate. It is our priority to be safe during this Christmas as we're getting out of the year , 2024 . My happiness is that I got information about him and he is doing well unlike his past health.

I pray may we be a far from any obstacle that may hinder us from seeing the new year and achieving our goals
