RE: SC-S28/wk5: "Movie Highlights: Old is Gold"
I thought the title and the beginning of your invitation were absolutely brilliant. A minute later, I just had to laugh... ;-)) Please don't get me wrong – of course I'm not laughing at your competition; it will generate lots of great entries.
I'm laughing about the totally different worlds, or rather, the very different generations to which we belong. I really like classic films. If you ask me about them, I'll give you examples from the 1950s, in black and white... In your list, I only see ‘new-fangled’ films. I guess I'm really getting old ;-))
Now I laugh when I read your comment. You feel like you're getting old, but I feel like I already am old. The funny thing is, I don't remember any films from before the 90s. Maybe I really am old, and it's not just a feeling.
First I must say thank you ma'am for your valuable feedback.
Hahaha you are not that old, rather I would say I am the one who is still growing up. Movies of 1950's are accepted. The idea is to present movie of old but should not exceed year 2000. The examples on my list are just mere examples, you must'st pick from them. Be free to be yourself.
