Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 120: What I Will Do Differently This Year

Every year occurs out of the principle of natural timing but it's a season of reflection to human beings. Imagine someone who lived his life in a static manner year in year out, one will discover that such a person might not go far especially if the lifestyle is depreciating. That is why every year is an opportunity to examine your life and change the wrong part and perfect the right one. Let's see in this publication about my life.

There were a lot of things I didn't do well in those aspects last year. Permit me to mention them here.

• My consistency on Steemit: In the previous years before last year, my movement with Steemit was so smooth. This movement is in terms of consistency in creating contents and engagement. But, that wasn't the case last year as I was lagging behind. I hope to change that this year.
• My readings habit: I also noticed that my dedication to reading has drastically dropped. It was annoying and disappointing to me as I couldn't understand myself anymore.

Behind these setbacks, there were some limiting factors that contribute to this menace which I spill it out.

• Procrastination: This was the war that I was silently struggling with last year. Imagine I had the freedom to create a post but I told myself I'll do it later. The funny part is that the later I mentioned doesn't exist as I end up not doing it at all. Now that I understand this, I hope to act immediately not keeping it to do later.
• Time factor: As a student in Nigeria, we all know that time during a school session is usually scarce as our work load increases. This is one of my limiting factors why I couldn't achieve what I wanted last year.

This year, I consider inconsistency and procrastination as an irrelevant part of my life. Since I saw its adverse effect on my life last year, I decided that enough is enough. Whatever I want to put my mind to, I hope to do it immediately and swiftly.

The new year is always an avenue for a fresh start. Naturally, I'm excited to be among those who are in a new year. It's truly a privilege not a right, that's why I'm always grateful to my creator for that. So,in general, I feel happy and hope that this new year will take me to new heights that I couldn't attain last year.
