“Life in my city”

in Steem4Nigeria14 hours ago

So far this year, is there something new in your city you would like to share with us? Fuel increase, rising prices, a protest, a robbery, or any other incident.

So far this year in my city of Jikwoyi, Abuja what has been trending is the election especially as of last month and early this month when the city hosted its local government elections across the whole of Abuja. Everywhere you turn, you will see campaign posters where people are busy talking about the election.

Today, the news about the election has been reduced, and what people are now talking about the most is the high price of fuel and transportation, which many now find it difficult for many to transport themselves to their place of work.

Can you say you have made any progress so far this year? Tell us about it.

Yes, I have made progress so far this year. At least I have been able to relocate to the Federal Capital Territory from where I was to my aunt's place in Abuja, where I am now going to a more expensive place to buy something with the support I am getting from Steemit.

Also, I have made progress in my well-being, my lifestyle, in pursuing my goal, in posting on the Steemit platform, and in other areas of my life which you can see from my picture.

If you have an opportunity to make your city better what will you do?

If I have an opportunity to make my city better I will improve the means of transportation in my city so people can be able to have easy means of transportation. The cost of transportation is too much, as you will find many people in my city trekking, the cost of living is high, and if I have an opportunity I will introduce buses or vehicles that will be carrying people at a very low price.

Let's say you are given a choice to decide to leave your city for another city better than your current one and would be sponsored or you are given a huge amount of money to stay back in your city, what will be your choice? And why?

I love my city as it is the capital of Nigeria, but if I am allowed to leave my city I will move to either Lagos State or Port Harcourt where I can get something and be doing. However, if I am given a huge amount of money to stay back in my city, my choice will be moving into the town with my loved ones and then opening a business that I can use to make money to take good care of my family and maintain my lifestyle.

Come next election, we're voting you into power☺️🙌🙌. But come to think of it, why always old men as president in this country? ☺️
