Lost and Found
Roads less traveled.
There are many winding and hilly dirt roads where I live.
Autumn is most beautiful and magical when the fall leaves are so coulourful.
Perfect for going on a ride and absorbing the the wonder of it all
and getting lost.
No particular destination or plan in mind.
Many years ago I was out on a long day drive. I got lost on a road less traveled.
I discovered a beautiful and very remote piece of property.
I bought.
The picture above is my driveway.
In the distance view I can see beautiful orange leaves on a Beech tree. My cabin is not to far away.
Home ward bound.

@annephilbrick We have a couple of paved roads that are narrow like your roads, when I was small all roads were like that but now they are 4 lanes or more. I love your roads better.

I do love living on a country dirt road and having many of them all around where I live.
I am a long ways from a 4 lane highway..!! There are paved roads.
@annephilbrick you are very lucky, where I live used to be a small fishing town, now in the last 10 years it has grown 4 or 5 times its size. Now a developer bought out an orange grove and plans to build 8 thousand new houses. It makes me sad.
It's a beautiful place, I wish I could visit it 💗💚 You're so lucky

It's still pretty amazing when I think about it.
I was out trying to find a used truck I was interested in buying.
I had directions from the seller but I didn't write them down correctly. .🤷♀️🤦♀️.
I saw a land for sale sign tacked on a tree.
I did eventually find the place where the truck was with assistance of a nice lady who was out walking with her dogs.
I didn't buy the truck.
Bought my property 😊💕
It must have been fate!
