Nature Occupies Everything

in GEMS4 years ago

I didn't think it would be that hard. I wrote a few days ago about the difficulty with which I integrate again in the routine of writing and posting after a longer break. The break was caused by a trip made in the north of my country, in Transylvania. Romania is my country but that may not tell you much but Transylvania is Dracula's country. I think everyone knows about Dracula, thanks to the movies.

Yes, it is difficult for me to resume the pace of writing, but I still started. But for three days I have been obsessed with a topic for the next blog and I can't write about it ... but I can't write anything else. It's a blockage that I think you hit.

The trip from Transylvania took me to visit some relatives who have a house in an isolated village located on some wooded hills. A village that is increasingly abandoned by people. The inhabitants are mostly very old and after their death their houses remain uninhabited. The young people no longer want to live there, they move to the nearby town.

Trees are also old but much more resistant than humans. They stay close to abandoned houses.

I saw many abandoned houses. Their image is sad and expresses the decline very well. The decline of some families, the decline of some communities ... I also find beauty in them. Especially when they are accompanied by vegetation released by the compulsion of people. Free vegetation to grow as she wants.

Now nature is trying to incorporate the human constructions that have been abandoned. Nature has incredible power. Fortunately!

But I think the image that says it all about the future of this place is in the cemetery. Even trees die, don't they?

I can say this and it can be helpful for our fellow beginners (and not only). Whenever you are short of inspiration, look for a challenge. They are innumerable and can help a lot to get over a blockage. So I did today, I was helped by #treetuesday, I can't say hosted but I can say that it was initiated by @old-guy-photos. Thank you!
