Are these Newts (sp?)

I've lived in Georgia off and on for 18 years. I've never recalled seeing these. I've lived in 9 different locations in GA and haven't seen them. My guess would be a salamander/newt? Of course, they're only seen at night. They are very still.

The more "mature" ones are the larger ones with black spots and protruding bumps. I'm guessing the markings indicate the difference in sex or perhaps age.

So nature peeps, what are we looking at? Thanks for visiting my blog!
