This painting is made with colored pencils on cardboard thread, with measurements of 35 cm x 50 cm

This is the first portrait I have painted in almost a year, I honestly thought I had lost touch, but this is like riding a bicycle, it is never forgotten, however it is necessary to practice, during all this time I was painting in oil with an impressionist style , using enough colors, and I think that helped me a lot to understand the composition of colors that a portrait carries, the various lights that can be applied to give more realism, the slight blurring, the various colors in addition to the skin tones among hundreds of other things that make up a good portrait that I now understand more easily after a while painting with oils.

Hi @connor-russo, that is absolutely beautiful work, I can imagine that it took you a long time, working with pencils you can't cover a large surface so quickly and understandable you want to be precise in working of the face features. The final result is astonishing :)
