There has been a host of drama in the BitShares area.
There may be a Fork September 10th with Cn-Vote launches New BitShares.
So here is a brief history.
After the crypto winter hit, BitUSD and BitCNY broke peg.
CryptoBridge and Open Ledger The two top gateways with 90% of volume failed. (Belly up or exit scam)
Cn-Vote got voting control and ended all development.
After 6 plus months of nonsense and community gridlock, a developer pushed through an undocumented code change in version 4.0 that changed voting rights, widely called a trojan.
Both Sides are crying foul. One side cn-vote is forking, back to the way it is.
IMHO from a neutral standpoint, Two BitShares could be great, but given that one side has rarely done any original programming, its ability to effectively develop has rightly been called into question.
