Hello, everybody! Today I take this opportunity to show you this new drawing I made. It's about a fictitious queen who rules a country where fire is worshipped as the most beautiful thing in existence, so, inspired by that idea, I ended up giving these characteristics to this female character. But in order not to extend myself further with these things, let's go with the process of creation. Enjoy!

¡Hola a todos! El día de hoy aprovecho esta oportunidad para enseñarles este nuevo dibujo que hice. Se trata una reina ficticia que gobierna un país donde se adora al fuego como la cosa más hermosa que existe, así que, inspirado por esa idea, terminé dándole estas características a este personaje femenino. Pero para no extenderme más con estas cosas, vayamos con el proceso de creación. ¡Que lo disfruten!

Sketch | Boceto

This is the initial sketch I made of The Fire Queen. I did it in pencil and paper in the traditional way.

Este es el boceto inicial que hice de La Reina De Fuego. Lo hice a lápiz y papel de manera tradicional.

Lineart

This is the lineart I got from tracing the sketch photo with the Paint Tool Sai vector tool. Some things changed in the lineart compared to the initial sketch.

Este es el lineart que obtuve de repasar la fotografía del boceto con la herramienta de vectores de Paint Tool Sai. Algunas cosas cambiaron en el lineart en comparación con el boceto inicial.

Base Colors | Colores Base

These were the base colors I chose for the character. The truth is that it took me longer than usual to get to that color palette, because I tried other combinations and none of them really pleased me.

Estos fueron los colores base que escogí para el personaje. La verdad me costó más tiempo de lo normal llegar a esa paleta de colores, pues intenté otras combinaciones y ninguna me terminaba de agradar.

Shading and Light | Sombreado

This is, of course, the shading stage. I liked my work here. It's simple but nice hahaha.

Esta es, por supuesto, la etapa del sombreado. Me gustó mi trabajo aquí. Está simple pero bonito jajaja.

The Fire Queen | La Reina De Fuego

And to finish, I show you the final illustration where I combine the lineart stages, the base colors and the shading to finish the work.

Y para finalizar, les muestro la ilustración final en donde combino las etapas del lineart, los colores base y el sombreado para acabar con el trabajo.
