¡Wuau parece mentira!, ya han pasado 2 años, desde que inicio mi historia en Steemit. Para ser exactos el 9 de mayo del 2018 a las 8pm, me uní a este ecosistema, comenzando con ello, esta interesante y nueva experiencia. Recuerdo, que tuve que esperar más o menos una semana, para que me enviaran las claves y poder hacer algo en la plataforma. A partir del 16 de mayo, fue cuando pude realizar mis primeras transacciones, pero solo fueron votos y reesteem, aun no me animaba a publicar. Solo fue hasta el 23 de mayo, que realice mi primera publicación, presentándome ante la comunidad.

Wow, it's been two years since I started my story at Steemit. To be exact, on May 9th 2018 at 8pm, I joined this ecosystem, starting with it, this interesting and new experience. I remember, I had to wait more or less a week, so they sent me the keys and I could do something on the platform. As of May 16th, that's when I was able to make my first transactions, but it was only votes and reesteem, I still didn't dare to publish. It was only until May 23rd, that I made my first publication, introducing myself to the community.

Reconozco que me costó realizar mi primera publicación, no me animaba a dar ese primer paso. No sabía que escribir, ni de que seguiría escribiendo, hasta ese momento, solo había escrito, sobre cuestiones académicas, o relacionadas con mi profesión. Pero, eso sí, estaba muy clara, que, de esos temas, no quería escribir. Buscaba una especie de válvula de escape, del estrés del trabajo, aunque disfruto de él, algunas veces me estresa, sobre todo en los finales de semestre, son una locura. Quería crear un lugar, una especie de rincón especial donde poder escribir sobre mis otras pasiones y compartirlas con la comunidad. Pero debía primero organizar mis ideas y estar clara sobre que escribiría. Fue entonces, cuando pensé… ¿por qué no enfocar mi blog en mi pasión por la fotografía?, y así comenzó este maravilloso recorrido.

I admit that it was difficult for me to make my first publication, I didn't have the courage to take that first step. I did not know what to write, nor that I would continue to write, until that moment, I had only written, on academic issues, or related to my profession. But it was very clear that I didn't want to write about those subjects. I was looking for a kind of escape valve, from the stress of work, although I enjoy it, sometimes it stresses me out, especially at the end of the semester, it's crazy. I wanted to create a place, a kind of special corner where I could write about my other passions and share them with the community. But first I had to organize my ideas and be clear about what I would write about. That's when I thought... why not focus my blog on my passion for photography, and that's how this wonderful journey began.

Enmarcado en mi pasión por la fotografía, durante esta aventura que ya arribó a sus 2 años. He tenido el placer de compartir con esta maravillosa comunidad, sobre muchos temas. Les he contado sobre mi vida y mi familia a la cual amo con locura. Hemos recorrido lugares hermosos de mi maravilloso país y todavía falta mostrarles más, aun no le muestro nada de los estados del sur. Han conocido algunas de las aves que surcan el majestuoso cielo azul venezolano y las flores que adornan los suelos de mi querida patria. Incluso, les he mostrado un poco sobre mis otras pasiones, la costura y las artes manuales. El resumen, les he mostrado el mundo que me rodea, visto desde la perspectiva del lente de mi querida cámara fotográfica.

Framed in my passion for photography, during this adventure that already arrived at his 2 years. I have had the pleasure of sharing with this wonderful community, on many subjects. I have told them about my life and my family which I love madly. We have visited beautiful places in my wonderful country and I still have to show them more, I still do not show you anything of the southern states. You have met some of the birds that fly across the majestic blue Venezuelan sky and the flowers that adorn the soil of my beloved country. I have even shown them a little about my other passions, sewing and the manual arts. In short, I have shown them the world around me, seen from the perspective of my beloved camera lens.

Se, que ya les he repetido hasta el cansancio que me apasiona la fotografía, aunque debo reconocer, que solo soy una aficionada. Lo que creo estar segura que no saben, es el porqué, de mi pasión por este fabuloso arte... Bueno, resulta que amo pensar, que, a través del lente de mi cámara, puedo detener el tiempo. Pues sí, quizás suene absurdo, pero desde mi perspectiva, cuando tomamos una fotografía encapsulamos instantes de nuestras vidas. Vivencias a las cuales luego podemos volver, simplemente evocando recuerdos al mirar nuestras fotografías. Y esa filosofía, es lo que le ha dado y seguirá dando sentido a mi blog "Esencias e Imágenes", espero que por muchos años más.

I know that I have already repeated to you, to the point of exhaustion, that I am passionate about photography, although I must admit that I am only an amateur. What I am sure you don't know is why my passion for this fabulous art... Well, I happen to love to think that, through the lens of my camera, I can stop time. Well, yes, it may sound absurd, but from my perspective, when we take a photograph we encapsulate moments of our lives. Experiences to which we can then return, simply by evoking memories when we look at our photographs. And that philosophy, is what has given and will continue to give meaning to my Blog "Essences and Images", I hope for many years to come.

Al recorrer las publicaciones que he realizado, durante estos dos años, notaran que, en mis trabajos fotográficos, no hay un estilo de fotografía preferido. Lo que, si ha sido y seguirá siendo una constante en mi blog, es compartir imágenes que muestren la belleza y milagro que nos ofrece día a día la naturaleza que me rodea. Pero, no me he limitado solo a mostrar fotografías, siempre trato de contar la historia detrás de cada una de ellas. Detalles, que permiten de alguna forma contextualizarlas. Y no solo eso, si, además, puedo compartir parte del fruto de mis investigaciones, en torno al tema en el cual se centran mis fotografías, mucho mejor. Es un trabajo arduo, el construir una publicación, pero realmente ha valido la pena el esfuerzo, ya que, me ha permitido aprender infinidad de cosas que desconocía.

As you look through the publications I have made, during these two years, you will notice that, in my photographic works, there is no preferred style of photography. What has been and will continue to be a constant in my blog is to share images that show the beauty and miracle that nature around me offers us day by day. But, I haven't limited myself to just showing photographs, I always try to tell the story behind each one of them. Details, that allow somehow to contextualize them. And not only that, if, in addition, I can share part of the fruit of my research, around the theme on which my photographs focus, much better. It is an arduous work, to construct a publication, but it has really been worth the effort, since, it has allowed me to learn infinity of things that I did not know.

Debo reconocer que siempre estaré agradecida, con STEEMIT, ya que, fue la plataforma que me abrió el camino en este gran mundo de las Blockchain. Aunque les confieso, que aun soy neófita en muchos aspectos. No ha sido un transitar fácil, en muchas oportunidades, me he desanimado. Durante mucho tiempo, a pesar de mi esfuerzo, mis publicaciones pasaron casi desapercibidas. Pero gracias a Dios hoy día, si bien aun no soy una ballena, ni mucho menos, a duras penas debo llegar a una sardina desnutrida, jajaja. Tengo uno que otro seguidor, que disfruta de mi trabajo, con eso me siento satisfecha. Además, esos pocos o muchos lectores, me animan a seguir compartiendo mi trabajo.

I must admit that I will always be grateful, with STEEMIT, since, it was the platform that opened the way for me in this great world of the Blockchain. Although I confess, that I am still a neophyte in many aspects. It has not been an easy journey, in many opportunities, I have been discouraged. For a long time, despite my efforts, my publications went almost unnoticed. But thank God today, although I'm not yet a whale, far from it, I hardly have to reach a malnourished sardine, hahaha. I have a few followers, who enjoy my work, so I feel satisfied. Besides, those few or many readers encourage me to keep sharing my work.

Steemit durante este tiempo ha sido esa ventana al mundo, que me ha permitido, no solo apoyar, aunque sea ínfimamente a una gran cantidad de creadores de contenido sorprendentes. Si no, además, a través de ella, he podido conocer, aunque sea virtualmente, personas realmente valiosas, y trabajadoras. Es imposible dejar de nombrar a cuatro personas que han sido cruciales en mi historia dentro del mundo de las Blockchain, primeramente, mis amigos @lanzjoseg, y @tpalomo por presentarme este maravilloso mundo y orientarme en mis inicios, les estaré eternamente agradecida. Seguidamente, mis respetos y eterno agradecimiento al Sr. @r2cornell, un caballero en toda la extensión de la palabra. Gracias, porque en mis inicios, cuando incluso llegue a pensar en rendirme y abandonar, debido al poco éxito de mis publicaciones, me brindo su apoyo desinteresado. Sr. @r2cornell, sus palabras, sobre mis trabajos fotográficos me alentaron a seguir publicando. Me hicieron darme cuenta, que más allá de lo que recaudara una publicación, lo que me llena realmente, es el poder compartir mi trabajo. It is impossible not to mention four people who have been crucial in my story within the world of the Blockchain, firstly, my friends @lanzjoseg, and @tpalomo for introducing me to this wonderful world and guiding me in my beginnings, I will be eternally grateful to them. Next, my respects and eternal gratitude to Mr. @r2cornell, a gentleman in every sense of the word. Thank you, because in my beginnings, when I even thought of giving up and quitting, due to the little success of my publications, I gave myself your selfless support. Y finalmente, pero no menos importante, debo agradecer a @amart29 mi compañero de aventuras en este mundo virtual. Quien, además, le toca aguantarme en el mundo real, mi amado esposo, amigo, y excelente escritor, de ciencia ficción. A quien admiro infinitamente, por su maravillosa mente creativa, les da vida a historias de ciencia ficción cautivantes y asombrosas, en mundos inimaginables, e increíbles, en futuros muy lejanos y a miles de miles de kilómetros perdidos en ese universo infinito y desconocidos para todos. Gracias por siempre estar allí y alentarme a escribir y compartir mi trabajo. No me queda más que despedirme, esperando que disfrutaran de este paseo por lo que han sido para mí, estos dos años de vida, en el ciber mundo de STEEMIT. Y por supuesto disfrutaran de la recopilación de fotografía que realice para ustedes, como muestra una pequeña muestra de mi trabajo durante esta increíble aventura en este, mi rincón mágico de Esencia E imágenes, desde donde les seguiré compartiendo, mi visión del mundo a través del lente de mi cámara.

And last but not least, I have to thank @amart29 my partner in this virtual world. Who, in addition, has to put up with me in the real world, hahaha, my beloved husband, friend, and excellent writer, of science fiction. Who I admire infinitely, for his wonderful creative mind, he gives life to captivating and amazing science fiction stories, in unimaginable and incredible worlds, in very distant futures and thousands of miles lost in that infinite universe and unknown to all.
