I participate in a challenge called "Draw This In Your Style"- See the result |Digital Art
Hey, hey, fellas.
You don't know how pleased I am to be here so quickly, I have finished a drawing quickly and even I am surprised, I am always talking about how long it takes me to do any drawing and the truth is tiring. But today that has changed.
This time I don't bring my own illustration, I have participated in a challenge called "draw this in your style", in which an artist shares his illustration and urges other artists to redraw it in their own drawing style. This is the first time I've participated, and I've chosen the illustration from mz09art on Instagram, as I loved how the idea of "raising crows and having your eyes gouged out" is expressed. Here below I leave you his drawing and tell me in the comments which style you like more.
Materials:
- Medibang Paint
- Wacom Intuos 4
- Photoshop
- Reference =https://www.instagram.com/p/B9XQEr9gsuV/
-Step 1:
The sketch was very easy, I only saw the reference image and imagined how I wanted mine to look like.
-Step 2:
The color palette used by mz09art, is quite cold and with very emos shades I would say.
-Step 3:
This is where my style starts, I'm not a lover of outlining, what attracts me is the volume and the semi realism, so I said goodbye to the sketch and started to add details with soft brushstrokes, trying to create volume. In Photoshop with the blender tool, I improved the girl's head that was very flattened.
-Step 4:
Soft light and color overlay, those are the blending modes I used to enhance the hair and the steak. Also, something that I found interesting in this drawing, are the hands that surround the girl, if you have ever tried to draw a hand, you know how difficult they can be, it was a personal challenge and so I decided to change some poses of the fingers, but I loved the result.
I'll leave you a little gif with the whole process in it, so you can better appreciate the step by step.

Hey, this was nominated in the latest OCD compilation but we also curated your spanish version posted in OCD. We usually don't curate other language posts in OCD but since this was art we made an exception but just so you know we are against reposting or self crossposting in our community. Will vote with our trail your post in OCD instead since we didn't notice the repost in time this time around.
Thank you so much for supporting me @ocd-witness.I'm sorry for the inconvenience caused, next time I'll make sure to only make one publication when participating in your community, you guys are amazing.
