Greetings to all of you who have come to my wall. These days have been very hard for me due to overwork. One of the activities that relaxes me the most is to create fantasy illustrations, like the ones I'm creating for my game Rada Quest (@radaquest). So these days I've put on a new illustration to clear my mind and rest my body.

I decided to create the extended version for one of the cards I had already created; Niove (Sand Storm). As we can read on the wiki, it is a female character that we can catalog in the role of "sorceress/thief". Their skill is to hypnotize people with their dance to rob them without them noticing.

The realization of this character had an extra point of difficulty for me due to the tone of his dark skin. It is very complicated to illuminate indoor, or nocturnal scenes, with characters of skin so dark with Daz Studio software.

Software: Daz Studio + Photoshop

Daz Studio is a software application developed and offered for free by Daz 3D. Daz Studio is a 3D scene creation and rendering application used to produce images as well as video. Renders can be done by leveraging either the 3Delight render engine, or the Iray render engine, both of which ship for free along with Daz Studio, or with a variety of purchasable add-on render engine plugins for Daz Studio from various vendors and companies. - Wikipedia

I've started from a Genesis 3 Female base model. I like the women in my illustrations to look sexy, but not as delicate and submissive objects. Quite the opposite. I always try to represent strong, powerful and very confident women. Women you'd rather not face in combat. That's why one of the first modifications is to adjust the body so that the model looks athletic and strong at the same time feminine.

Next, I've chosen the same costume combination that I already used in the base version of the card.

For the pose I have chosen to leave the model alone and add the stage in the post-production phase, with Photoshop.

Finally, I added lights, cameras... and render!

The result of the render I've taked it to Photoshop and there I've finished the illustration with a little magic, some brushes and more effects.
