АШАН ( Auchan ) Mega SuperMarket , Kharkiv, Ukraine

Every day I go out to buy something, we have many small super shops and markets around. If I think about the larger scale, I mean considering the entire city these are regional shops and target people is neighborhood. I mean whenever I need something like weekly grocery, inexpensive kinds of stuff, these shops are the best. Maximum shops are in walking distance, price is okay and good for daily basis shopping or weekly shopping.

Megastores or mega markets are far away from my home. Like really far, I have to take a bus, metro or taxi if I want to go there, another corner of Kharkiv Oblast. I live in the Oleksiiviska region and maximum mega stores are far away from my home. It takes a minimum of 35 minutes if I want to go there...

So, I go there once in a month perhaps once in 2 months because I can fulfill my weekly, daily necessities from my surrounding superstores and markets. I don't have a car so that is another reason of less visiting those superstores or megastores.

АШАН (Auchan) Mega supermarket is located at Dafi Shopping Mall near to Karavan Shopping Mall. The name of the location is Heroiv Pratsi. It took me a long time to pronounce the exact word of Pratsi because most of the time I pronounce it Prasti. In fact, I also face difficulties pronouncing АШАН, the English pronunciation is Auchan though I pronounce it ASHAN. Anyway, now you can see how much I struggle to pronounce Russian and how I mixed up everything with English.

I might be wrong with the name of the megastore because I am kind of confuse between Karavan Megastore and АШАН Megastore. A few days ago, me and my friend went to this megastore for some shopping. Mostly grocery and some necessary stuff which is not available near our superstores.

Megastore has a large variety of different pieces of stuff from different brands and almost everything is available there. It is huge and it took us almost 1.5 hours to finish our shopping.

This mega superstore has different sections I mean zones and you can easily identify each zone by seeing the hanging board. Also, price tags are visible and you can easily identify each product.

I haven't buy any raw materials or fresh foods because those are available at my nearest shops. I bought some dry stuff and some kitchen appliances.

I have taken this picture from the baking zone, all types of baking products are available here. You can see some nice cupcake shapers, baking appliances available here.

They have a huge storage of products. You can see in the pictures and also you can see the frypans from various brands. They have expensive collections as well. I know another market where you can also find kitchen appliances and kitchen crockery set in a reasonable price but here you can check everything before buying.

I have bought the necessary kitchen crockeries according to my budgets, I needed them.

All products of this basket are not mine, my friend also bought some necessary stuff for herself.
