WednesdayMarket: Visit to Local Vegetable Market.

I went to buy vegetables from the nearest market this week and captured some photos over there. I come here once in a week to buy vegetables ane I buy when they come to sell at the apartment. I like to come here because this way I get the opportunity to connect with these people.

This is local vegetable Market which is about 1 km from my house and I walk here. Some of my friends also join me sometimes to come here. There are many places where I can buy veggies from but I prefer this market because here I get fresh vegetables and also these sellers are selling for their life survival while big stores are selling to make money out of it.

I am vegetarian so cooking veggie food is daily need however in weekend we go outside for lunch and sometimes dinner too. I prefer home cooked food because I know that what it is made of and its also heathy option. Outside food is tasty for sure but not that much healthy because they mix any spices and also fry the food for taste which makes it less healthy.

I spend about half an hour to one hour weekly for buying of vegetables but this time has its own fun. Many sellers know me because I come here weekly and sometimes twice in a week. They give me the best of vegetables that's not frozen and that too reasonable price.

I came here bit early in the evening so there's no crowd and in evening its gets crowded because lots of people of people come here to buy vegetables. I see many people doing bargaining with veggie seller but I don't do. I think this is not right because they're putting lots of efforts to make it so they deserve they are asking for. I have even in the big and branded stores where everyone just pay the same amount that's mentioned and no one ask for any discount and no bargaining at all. Its because they know that Store is not going to entertain them but here they can try this option for sure.

Nowadays with technology we have the option to order online and get delivered at home without even going out and it certainly saves time. But my approach is different and I don't order online unless its very busy schedule for me. I think what's the point if I get vegetables at home and then I go for walk . For me it's better to go market and at the same time my physical activities are also on through walk. With the time these sellers have also upgraded themselves as they now take the payment through wallet. I do use my PhonePe app sometimes to pay them when I don't have cash.
I prefer to pay by cash because I found it convenient. You can see QR code scanner and most of vegetable sellers are having this with them.

I like going Markets, be it vegetable market or any market because I like to buy the best and here I get enough of variety to choose from at the right price and there is no fixed amount price tag is mentioned. So this is what I enjoy when I ensure that my family gets the fresh vegetables for healthy lifestyle.
